KyL416 has now officially revealed the final episode titles and spoiler descriptions for Power Rangers RPM. The series finale will consist of episode 1931: "Danger And Destiny, Part I" and 1932: "Danger And Destiny, Part II". Both episodes will air on December 26th. Now here's the final spoilers... pr rpm 31-32 spoilers )

Meanwhile, it has now been revealed how Eddie Guzelian would have ended Power Rangers RPM if he hadn't ended up being let go. Upon Venjix's destruction, Dillon would have been activated as a "Sleeper Venjix" who was never really human at all and then tranform into his ultimate form for a final battle. Wow. >_>

ABC has set Scrubs to return for its ninth season a little earlier than I expected. The "remodeled" series is set to return with back-to-back new episodes on Tuesday December 1st at 9PM ET. The article claims that not only will there be a new cast.. but the hospital setting will be gone? WTF?! ..Better Off Ted will then return for its second season the following Tuesday, December 8th, at 9:30PM ET. :)

TVShowsOnDVD now has the press release for the January 5th DVD & Blu-ray release of Chuck: The Complete Second Season. Can't wait to see these again. :)

On November 17th, FUNimation will release Dragon Ball Z onto DVD for possibly its last time.. before its 24635635345 releases on Blu-ray. Dragon Ball Z: Dragon Box One more closely matches the Japanese DVD releases of the same name and will include the first 42 episodes of the series with all its original themes and previews included.. Fucking great. lol. I got about halfway through the series purchasing the volumes used.. and now they're collecting dust. And now my intentionally-cut-to-widescreen boxed sets are about to suffer the same fate..? Hooray! *throws his cash around as if it were confetti* Yay! Cannot wait to buy all of these again! ..or maybe not.. Whatever..

I awoke in the morning and got online to finish the previous entry. My dad left for dialysis, then I eventually watched South Park (lol, so funny) and three episodes of Naruto Shippuden (caught up with Disney XD.. and not all that much happened really.. or I fell asleep for parts and just forgot.. or Disney XD censored all the action :p). Then I played some more Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time. :)

My dad returned home from dialysis sometime after 11AM, then we eventually watched Ellen. My dad soon left to head to the bank as I got the PS3 online and checked out PlayStation Home. I was trying to figure out an original Halloween costume for Home.. but mainly ended up almost falling asleep. So I moved on to more Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time. Really liking this game. Wow.

I finally shut off the PS3 a while after 5:30, long after my dad had returned then went to bed again. Next, I got online to news-gather.. and since there was still no food in the house, my dad got a pizza for supper. Yay. :) ..In primetime, we watched Smallville (ooh, very good episode.. that ending felt too soon for me for some reason, dunno why).. then my dad returned to bed. He still wasn't feeling all that great. I watched FlashForward (40 minutes wasted watching this show just to see the very last minute! It's like what Lost used to be at the start.. only boring..).. then I returned to my room for the night as well.

See ya.

KyL416 has revealed the two penultimate episode titles and spoiler descriptions for Power Rangers RPM. Episode 1929: "If Venjix Won" will premiere on December 19th at 12PM ET. Episode 1930: "End Game" will then follow right after at 12:30PM ET. And here's those spoiler descriptions... pr rpm 29-30 spoilers ) The last two episode titles have also been revealed somewhere online but everyone's afraid of legal trouble with Disney if they utter or even link to them before October 30th at Midnight ET.. I'd hate to go up against Disney too, so be back here next week for the last title.. er, titles.. *runs*

I partly finished the previous entry.. then went to sleep. I awoke in the morning, finished and posted it.. Then I was able to take over the TV once my dad got bored of news and watch Degrassi TNG (hehe, nice) and Batman: The Brave And The Bold (musical, yay! ..but I fell asleep near the end :( *leaves on DVR for later*). I believe I went in and out of sleep for a bit, then I watched Titan Maximum (fell asleep during it like a week ago, so here it is again :p) and The Spectacular Spider-Man (awesome episode, loved every minute.. I'm really gonna miss this one :( ..rather it gets picked up and have to wait forever for another season or it's dropped.. and it's forever without it :( ).

My dad left on an errand and I got online for a while.. and soon uploaded more Home pics.. *ahem* ..And then it was time for a new episode of Kamen Rider Dragon Knight -- episode 129: "Calm Before The Storm". I.. fell asleep.. pretty early into it.. but luckily, it was only a clip show.. and it recorded thrice (VHS, DVR1, DVR2 :p).

Later one, I decided to watch more shows waiting to be watched on the PS3 -- CSI (good episode.. and caught up), Defying Gravity (the season and possibly series finale.. great episode :) .. :( ), Grey's Anatomy (oh, a spayshul episode rather than a regular one I was hoping for.. hm) and Crash (finally, nudity.. about time.. and not all that much from Jessy Schram :( ..I found this season so far to be pretty boring without too). After that, we had supper.. then I returned to my room and got online.. for the rest of the night.

And that was pretty much it really. Hm.. See ya.

TVShowsOnDVD now reports about the Amazon-exclusive DVD volumes of Power Rangers RPM.. and provides a full back and front DVD packaging scans for that free Disney Store DVD. The back reveals that it also includes a yet-to-be-released-on-DVD episode of Power Rangers RPM and some special features. Now I want it even more. And due to this new exposure, I'm even more worried my store will be out of them by the time I get there on Tuesday. Damnit. :(

TVShowsOnDVD have also announced two more ABC Family series heading to DVD shortly before their return to the network. 10 Things I Hate About You: Volume 1 -- based on the hit movie -- will include the series' first ten episodes, the pilot episode of Make It Or Break It, and some nice special features. Make It Or Break It - Volume 1: Extended Edition will also be released on the same date -- January 12th. That's just one week after the 10 Things I Hate About You: 10th Anniversary Edition DVD & Blu-ray is released by Buena Vista as well. You'd think they'd put it on the same date.. I'm definitely in for the 10 Things I Hate About You movie and TV show (upgrading the movie DVD to Blu :) ), but will pass on Make It. The whole release is titled "Extended", but the only episode that's longer is the finale..? Ha. :p

I awoke in the morning and eventually got online, then watched.. Spectacular Spider-Man.. er something. I don't really remember much besides that. My dad came home from dialysis, then eventually went to bed for a nap like usual.. I soon took over the TV in the afternoon and watched CSI NY (wow, twisty episode.. didn't expect that ending), Greek (good episode, haha) and last night's The Vampire Diaries (wow, good episode.. keeps getting better).

We eventually had some supper, then I got online to news-gather.. In primetime, we watched Smallville (another great episode.. looove Toyman, lol :p ..that very last shot of Lois & Clark and the Daily Planet logo was nice, hehe), Medium (last week's episode.. catching up anyway.. good episode) and The Soup (lol).

I returned to my room, but eventually returned to find my dad having another problem with the TV. Ever since the DVR software was changed so that one press of the record button DVRs the that's on, my dad has been accidentally pressing that button and recording whole shows that aren't needed. Once it even deleted a show just to fit in one of these useless recordings. I had one recording going tonight and he changed it to cable channel 3.. then the TV changed back to the previous channel and wouldn't let him change it back. I came in there and got in a fight over it just because he absolutely refused to believe he hit the record button accidentally yet again. And that I had suddenly set a second recording from my room or something. The small record button is right above the 3 button.. and my dad has huge fingers. But no, refused. Ass. >_>

Ugh. See ya.

Fans at RangerBoard report that Disney Store is giving away free DVDs that promote the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers 2010 toyline. Click here for some screencaps, or click here to check out the trailer on YouTube... Also, the back of the DVD packaging has a small advertisement revealing that the next two volumes of Power Rangers RPM on DVD -- Volume 3: Mastering The Machines & Volume 4: Revved-Up Rescue -- will be available exclusively at Amazon.com. Oh boy. Please don't be burn-on-demand DVD-Rs.. I can't get to Disney Store until Tuesday. :( I hope I can get a copy (or.. two) for my PR DVD collection..

The case of the disappearing Iron Man: Armored Adventures - Volume 1 Blu-ray Disc has finally been solved. Information about the title on Blu was released, then "canceled". But now it's been revealed that the Iron Man: Armored Adventures - Volume 1 Blu-ray will be exclusive to Best Buy (and BestBuy.com) when the title hits shelves next Tuesday, October 20th. And even better, the Blu version will be going for just $16.99 next week. Coool. :) Plus remember that the DVD is said to be full screen, but the Blu-ray will be widescreen. Both will include the first six episodes of the series. Maybe I'll pick this one up a bit sooner than expected. Hmm..

Haven't really done this in a while, but this a pretty big release week so.. Click the corresponding retailer for their ad for the week of October 18th to 24th -- Best Buy & Target. There's some rather interesting exclusives for the October 20th release of Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen. Best Buy will have a two-hour "doorbuster" deal on all versions of the title. For the first two hours the store is open, you can save an additional $3 off the Blu-ray or $2 off the DVD. Best Buy has an exclusive bust.. that I don't really care about. Target will have yet another transforming case -- this time for Bumblebee -- on both DVD and Blu. the DVD version will be $26.99 and the Blu will be $29.99.. I think I'll get my copy at WalMart for their exclusive "big screen" IMAX edition of the film on Blu for just $19.96. It will feature the full picture in select scenes and about a minute of additional footage. Their exclusive cover art even matches the basic Blu-ray art for the first movie. Cool. Plus I have a $3 off coupon from Papa John's. >:) ..And as I just said, I may pick up Iron Man: Armored Adventures Vol 1 on Blu at Best Buy for just $16.99. The basic DVD version will be just $12.99.. I'll probably also pick up Code Geass R2 Part 2.. if Best Buy minds stocking it..

FOX has now issued a press release detailing their full November sweeps plans, including baseball.. and spoilers for the month's new episodes of House, Glee, Dollhouse, Bones, Fringe, the Sunday night comedies and more. Beware the spoilers...

I awoke at about 7AM and had to get online and finish the previous entry. And then I got the PS3 online and into PlayStation Home before my dad woke up.. and ended up staying online for quite a while. 23 new images. The new Ratchet & Clank clothes are awesome. I bought everything R&C but the throne.. and the personal space. I'll have to get those next month. $6.99 for the personal space. Ack. I'd rather get the actually game first, so.. :p

My dad awoke and eventually took off somewhere. Eventually, I left Home and watched South Park (rofl, great episode) and The Spectacular Spider-Man (fell asleep, damnit.. watch again later..), soon followed by Monsters vs Aliens on Blu-ray. Another impulse buy.. that I probably shouldn't have made. There were jokes throughout that made me laugh for maybe three seconds each time. And otherwise, it was just a rather basic story. I enjoyed it.. just might not have been worth a purchase. I'm always a sucker for any kind of store exclusive. Damnit. :|

Next, I watched The Mentalist (found it difficult to pay attention.. eh blah), Glee (wow, one of the best episodes so far.. *reconsidering DVD purchase stance* ..damnit..) and Rita Rocks (hahaha). After all that, I returned to my room and got online to news-gather.. then eventually had some supper..

In primetime, we watched Community (haha), Parks And Recreation (lol.. damnit, fell asleep near the end..), The Office (..and a little into this episode :( ..but otherwise, lol), 30 Rock (lol, 4th wall.. season 4.. nice.. cheesy hot dog wrapped in pizza.. *drools*), New Adventures of Old Christine (lol) and Gary Unmarried (lol). And that was about it.

Bye.

[Current Mood | okay]

I awoke somewhere around 3 or 4AM, then got online and finished up the previous entry. My dad awoke at 5AM, then I went out there to the living room.. and fell asleep for some more hours.. I finally awoke at about 8AM or so and watched iCarly ("iDate A Bad Boy", another I haven't seen.. lol, funny) followed by the season premiere of Star Wars: The Clone Wars (awesome episodes.. haha's @ Seth Green voicing a robot :p ..funny how out of order all these episodes are production-wise, these are Season 1 Episodes 23 & 13 :p). Once it ended, my dad returned from some errands.

I attempted to watch Grey's Anatomy next. He paid absolutely no attention, then went off on yet another errand. Argh. I got online instead.. And then I watched Kamen Rider Dragon Knight -- episode 126: "Kamen Rider Wrath" (so Maya was supposed to look like Lacey And it fooled them? lol.. pretty good episode.. they finally fought in the bookstore!) followed immediately by two new episodes of Power Rangers RPM -- episodes 1927: "Control-Alt-Delete" & 1928: "Run Ziggy Run" (these were pretty good episodes as well, Tenaya 15 and her brainwash struggle with Dillon again reminded me of PRiS.. and Dr. K finally called Ziggy by his real name! well almost, hehe.. while the Rangers are busy in the latter episode, Venjix makes a deal-gone-bad with Fresno Bob that ends with Venjix having just what he needs for his "final strike"! what is in that box?! Find out in December!!! lol -_-).

After some time online, I took quite a while to get ready.. then was finally able to go to Target.. for this week's DVDs..

I managed to make it into Target and bought Superman / Batman: Public Enemies on Blu-ray (their last copy), How I Met Your Mother: Season 4 on DVD (again, last copy.. ew @ Fox continuing the DVD case with cardboard glued to the front for TV DVDs.. LAME).. and Monster Vs Aliens on Blu (total impulse buy.. Target exclusive Blu+DVD Combo.. I was considering it since seeing the trailers, due to how it may be up my alley.. but I'm still considering whether or not to keep). Meanwhile, my dad went to the phone section and got a really nice new prepaid cell phone from Verizon. Only $20, and it has a camera! Jealous..

While waiting for customer service, my legs hurt a bit and the dizziness (vertigo?) returned a little. It still comes and goes.. I moved on to get my icee, then checked out Walgreens as well. In there, I saw the cell phone my dad had just bought for $50. OMG. Now even more jealous. I officially want to buy the phone too, but I still have $30 to use on my old phone. :(

We finally returned home and I got online for a while. A long while. We eventually had supper, then I eventually watched whatever my dad was watching on the living room TV. Then I fell asleep for a few hours before reawakening in the middle of the night.. and completing this entry..

Bubye now..

[Current Mood | okay]

I awoke in the morning and got online for a bit, then eventually watched SNL Weekend Update Thursday (lol), Parks And Recreation (lol), two episodes of Brothers (haha.. maybe once.. never watching this again), Smallville (yes, again.. and my dad fell asleep for a part anyway :p), The Troop (haha.. lol @ that crappy black pipe thing that was supposed to be a giant stinger..? wtf? :p) and Fringe (I fell asleep for most of this.. damnit, have to watch again later).

I got online for a little while as my dad took off for some more groceries. And then I watched a new episode of Kamen Rider Dragon Knight -- 125: "Dropping The Axe" (very good episode.. hope we see a lot more of Onyx than that though) immediately followed by two new episodes of Power Rangers RPM -- 1925: "Key To The Past" & 1926: "Without A Doubt" (both really got the series' Dillon plotline moving at last.. lol @ Ziggy's comedic moments, good stuff.. and the Ultrazord was awesome!).

After that, I mainly.. watched the infomercial that followed RPM (make your own soda! wow!).. before moving on to some channel surfing. I landed on the VMAs for a little while, but then finally watched X-Men Origins: Wolverine on Blu-ray. I really liked the movie and cannot wait for the sequel.. as well as Magneto. :) My dad.. slept through a lot of it.. Not that many deleted scenes to watch though, but the new imdb live lookup feature is cool.

I got online for quite a while again, then we eventually had some supper.. I eventually got off the computer and returned to the living room where my dad was watching some old movie on CMT. I had intended to just get some more sleep in.. but I got into the last half-hour or so of the cheesy movie --Overboard-- then also watched Urban Cowboy as well. If I had known it was three hours (with commercials) at the start, I probably wouldn't have watched it. But I did. It was an alright movie. But when I returned to the computer, I found dekabroken had posted his RPM episode encodes hours earlier than I expected --maybe 10 minutes after I left the computer-- and so I got them on my twitter way late. :(

Ah well.. And that was about it for another night. Oh, except at some point during that long movie, the dizziness -- vertigo -- went away to almost nothing. Yay. :) See ya.

SnitchSeeker.com has a complete rundown on what to expect on the upcoming DVD & Blu-ray "Ultimate Edition" releases of Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone and Harry Potter And The Chamber of Secrets. The DVD versions will each contain five discs -- one for each cut of the film, one for the original DVD release's special features, another disc of all-new special features, and of course the digital copy disc. With Blu-ray being able to store more content per disc, the Blu versions will only contain three discs each -- this includes both cuts of each film on one disc. Warner Bros has already revealed that Ultimate Editions for all eight films will be released, so don't worry about an incomplete collection of these. :)

I awoke rather early in the morning.. and was subjected to my dad talking and talking and talking. He still has some blank spots in his memory and I tried my best to help. The money in the wallet that was stolen at the hospital was pretty much the only money to his name. :( My dad mentioned something about the hospital paying him back for these losses, but who knows when that'll happen. Someone at the hospital did give him some gift cards though, totaling $30. :/ ..And I already spent a majority of the money I had left for the month on Thursday's discs, so I'm not very much help.. like usual. :(

I rewatched Parks & Recreation for my dad (again, didn't really pay attention), then I watched the last four episodes of The Office: Season 5 (lol, good episodes.. great finale.. webisodes and gag reel were great too).. Not long after that, I soon watched a new episode of Kamen Rider Dragon Knight -- 124: "Dark Temptation". Another very good episode this week. Yay, a Ventara flashback. And the preview for next week looks awesome too.. And after that a new episode of Power Rangers RPM -- 1924: "Ancient History". This episode was also very good. Difficult to decide which one was better this week.. but I'll say RPM. Very close though. :)

Then after that, I pretty much got online.. and wasted the whole afternoon away there. We had supper at like 2 or 3PM or something. Nice to have an actual meal for the first time in a week. While he was gone, I mainly just had a bowl of cereal here, a sandwich there, some yakisoba here.. because that was pretty much all I could make. :/ ..I eventually downloaded and rewatched today's Power Rangers RPM.. on my computer! I rarely watch any show on here because I still have a crappy monitor that flickers the picture a bit. That's why I usually move everything to the PS3. But today's episode was great, so I chose to watch it again. :p

I also streamed an episode of South Park, then moved out to the living room while my dad was out picking up a few groceries (yes, with no license). He returned and we watched some TV.. then I fell asleep for a few hours.. until his laughing at SNL woke me up. :p And.. that's about it..? See ya..

[Current Music |Steve Conte & Shanti Snyder - Living Inside The Shell (GitS SAC 2nd Gig Closing theme) | 6:23]

It looks like Disney finally figured out there was a huge ten-week break coming up where ABC Kids won't be able to air any new episodes of Power Rangers RPM, and so new episodes will begin doubling up on September 26th rather than one new and one rerun. :) This means two previously unannounced episode titles can be revealed. Episodes 1927: "Control-Alt-Delete" and 1928: "Run Ziggy Run" will now premiere on October 3rd. After that week, the final four episodes of RPM won't begin until December 19th. Ack. :( But I'm hearing there's a clip show this season and we're getting a three-part finale.. so I guess that's them? Oh, here's those descriptions.. pr rpm 27-28 spoiler )

Warner Bros will release Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince onto 1-disc DVD, 2-disc DVD and 3-disc Blu-ray/DVD combo editions on December 8th. The Blu-ray version will feature Maximum Movie Mode with the cast of the movie. Coool.. According to TheDigitalBits, other features include "a pair of behind-the-scenes documentaries, including one on author J.K. Rowling's work writing the final book in the series, 2 short featurettes on the cast, deleted scenes and a look at Universal Orlando's new Harry Potter-themed attraction"..

Also at TheDigitalBits are a few new details on the Ultimate Edition DVDs & Blu-rays of Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone and Harry Potter And The Chamber of Secrets being released on the same day. All will be oversized boxed sets that will include "both theatrical and extended versions of the films, 48-page photo books, new cast introductions, screen-test footage, all-new featurettes, Digital Copy versions and many (if not all) of the extras from the previous versions as well. You'll also get new In Movie Experiences and Maximum Movie Mode options on the Blu-ray versions featuring director Chris Columbus, complete with PIP video, photos and artwork." Damnit. I want these. I haven't yet upgraded my Harry Potter collection to Blu-ray yet, but making them boxed sets so they can include a bunch of non-disc-based trinkets to jack up the price is a turn-off for me (the Blu-rays have an $49.99 SRP, while the DVDs are $39.92 SRP), as are the huge-ass "1" & "2" on the covers. But then again.. extended editions are an even bigger turn-on.. Damnit. :|

I awoke in the morning.. and watched six more episodes of The Office: Season 5 (only because I initially misread the clock as two hours later than it actually was.. I count the one-hour episodes as two episodes btw, like the one that actually did air in two parts.. I noticed there were quite a lot of deleted scenes for the Super Bowl episode -- 26 minutes! -- NBC definitely asked them to shoehorn in that movie plotline with guest stars Jack Black, Jessica Alba and Cloris Leachman.. that didn't fit the show and I didn't like it at all.. and Jessica Alba was barely in it :( ).

After that, I played Ellen.. but barely watched any of it as I got ready for.. what may be happening today. She told me it would be after 12PM.. Once I was done, I watched Crash Course next.. then fell asleep. After that, I got online for a while. Mainly waiting.. for something to happen. But as the clock slowly reached 3PM, I began to get a bit skeptical.. But then she came by. :)

My relative told me that he will likely get out of the hospital tomorrow now... and that just about everything he took with him to the hospital is now missing. The first time they took him away, he left his wallet and phone.. because the dialysis lady said he should because they may get lost. But when they took him back after he escaped, he took his wallet and cell phone with him. And now they're both missing, as well as his clothes. Ugh. I even gave him his cell phone. It had no money on it, so it would keep beeping every 10-20 minutes or so. I thought he would need it in order to remember my cell phone number, a problem he had the last time he went to the hospital. And his wallet definitely contains some pretty important cards, including food stamps. :(

So after she collected some clothes that he could wear when he leaves there tomorrow, I got ready.. and we.. headed to WalMart.. I think I might have overdid it a little due to my new stress.. or something..

So she waited at the front of the store while I headed to the back and picked up one of three remaining copies of X-Men Origins: Wolverine on WalMart Exclusive 3-Disc Blu-ray (and they weren't with the other new releases, they were hiding with the other Blu's), as well as X-Men: Volumes 3 & 4, Bionicle: The Legend Reborn and Batman: 4-Film Favorites. I think I mainly got the last two so as not to waste so much of her time. For a DVD I'm on the fence about getting, I sometimes stand around and think about it for a while. But I could always return one or both of the latter two..? But.. probably won't happen..

Batman includes all four original movies for just $10, and Bionicle was just $15 and came with WalMart exclusive comic book. On both of them, I wanted to complete my collection. I own the new Batman movies on Blu-ray, but don't really enjoy the original ones as much.. but I do like them. Just not enough to get an expensive boxed set. This is just like the similar set I have for the original four Superman films, only this 4-movie 2-disc set is out three weeks early.. I also already have the three Bionicle films released on DVD by Disney and really liked them too.

The others are more definite purchases and they further complete my collections too. I recently got X-Men Trilogy on Blu-ray but waited until I got this new movie to watch them together. And I'm doing the same for X-Men: The Animated Series (only one more volume to go).. Man, WalMart is sooo stingy on price-matches. I couldn't price-match X-Men Origins: Wolverine down a couple bucks because the Fry's store was too far away. :/ And the register lady had to consult with two other people about price-matching the two X-Men volumes, since the cover in the Target ad wasn't EXACTLY the same than the one before her. She even questioned if there was a different 1-disc edition of them since the sticker wasn't pictured in the ad. And whenever I tried to speak up about it with facts, she just ignored me.. But at least they let those through and I saved $8 there..

My relative drove me there and back in virtual silence. I have such a hard time talking to anyone.. except my dad.. and perhaps anyone online.. So I returned home and inventoried the new discs, then thanked her for the ride via e-mail. *shrug* I then news-gathered as well, then she showed up -- twice -- with a whole bunch of free pantry food for us due to the food stamp card going missing with my dad's wallet. Really nice of her, but my dad will probably end up passing some of it on. I mean.. full ears of corn, leaves and all? :p

In primetime.. I.. watched SNL Weekend Update (lol @ opening skit), Parks & Recreation (lol), The Office (lol.. pretty good episode), Community (not.. all that great at all.. so far.. I laughed maybe two or three times) and True Blood (Sunday's finale.. at last.. omg @ the ending.. it's always the ending :p). Then I.. returned to my room..

I hope they find dad's things, he returns home and everything goes back to normal. But knowing my life, it probably won't. It always seems to be one step forward, two steps back.. *sigh* See ya.

Saturday 09.12.2009 -- Ziggy: "I think it's morphing time." [Sep. 12th, 2009|11:59 pm]
[Tags|]
[Current Mood | sleepy]

I awoke in the morning and got online right away. But I soon watched three episodes of Fringe: Season 1 (yay, cliffhanger two-parter.. that I had to make cliffhang again since I didn't have enough time to watch Part 2 :p), then I wrote a little more Truth-Seekers: Prometheus (a sentence here, a paragraph there.. no idea if another episode will ever get done.. but I hope so..). After that, I soon watched an all-new Kamen Rider Dragon Knight (123: "Kamen Rider Siren" ..misleading title, though it might be about Siren or more Ventara backstory.. but not so much.. pretty good episode though, for the bits that I stayed awake for.. damnit.. I'll have to rewatch later :( ..Awesome ending btw :) ).

My dad during all this fussed over not know much food stamps he had and the phone number he usually used to find that out not working. So I went online and found out for him instead. Soo computer illiterate.. luckily.. *p0rn evidence in plain sight* ..Anyway he took off to a grocery store and still didn't get very much, then returned to bed.. I got online for a little while, then it was time for an all-new Power Rangers RPM (1923: "And... Action" ..a Behind The Scenes Special hosted by our favorite Ranger Ziggy! As well as all the other Rangers and Dr K, in-character! PROO's special focused more on make-up and the sets, but this one luckily puts focus on the stunts and visual effects.. I really enjoyed it, especially the blooper reel near the end and Ziggy's line in the topic above -- "I think it's morphing time." Haha. :p).

Next, I watched two more episodes of Fringe: Season 1 (good episodes, though the REALLY fast plot movement and restructuring to the series in the opening segment of "Bound" was like an awakening slap in the face.. that I really didn't like at first..).. My dad acted like me and couldn't wait to go out. And once the episodes were done, we did. My dad got his fried chicken that he so wanted, then I went to three more stores.. looking for Nacho Cheese Bugles. They're so rare it's annoying. I can only find them in tiny expensive bags at Speedway. :( Oh, we also got a few groceries too.. and an icee.. when I got my tiny bag of Bugles.. And I forgot to mention that my dad tapped two cars in two parking lots just during this outing (both were while backing out of a parking space). He used to be a delivery driver.. so that made me worry a little..

We returned home and had some supper, then I got online for a few hours.. I eventually watched Thursday's Supernatural premiere (pretty good start to the season, hmm..), then returned to the living room to my dad sitting in the dark living room with the TV off.. A bit earlier I think I came in there to find him switching channels in his sleep or something.. He told me that the TV just turned off and he didn't mind turning it back on I guess. Oh, and there was a knock at the door that he completely ignored.. only because he knew who it was..

That was about it really. Another boring night online mainly.. See ya.

Saturday 09.05.2009 -- The Spectacular Spider-Man Meets The Gargoyles? [Sep. 5th, 2009|11:06 pm]
[Tags|]
[Current Mood | uncomfortable]

The Spectacular Spider-Man producer and Gargoyles creator Greg Weisman recently wrote a radio play for voice actors to perform at the Gathering of the Gargoyles 2009 convention in Los Angeles, CA -- a Spectacular Spider-Man / Gargoyles crossover story called "Religious Studies 101: A Handful of Thorns". Among the voice actors were sixteen professionals from both series as well as thirteen fans who attended the convention. The whole thing was recorded, but has yet to be released online. However, click here for a full cast list, spoiler-filled synopsis and YouTube clips of the play. Me wants, me wants! *impatient* :p

After the previous entry, I played Saints Row 2 for a couple hours since my dad had gone to bed early. Then I went to sleep.. I awoke in the morning.. at a regular time.. and got online for a bit. Then I watched three more episodes of Heroes: Season 3 (pretty good.. getting better :) ), followed by Kamen Rider Dragon Knight (122: "A Rider's Resolve" -- another awesome episode.. Siren is here, yay! Though I noticed they changed her line from "Let's go hunting." to "Let's go venting." :/), another episode of Heroes: Season 3 (had to pause my DVD watching to catch KRDK, then watch another :p) and the new Power Rangers RPM (1922: "The Dome Dolls" -- better than some thought it would be, but I still enjoyed this week's two Dragon Knights more.. I see they're making sure to use all the silly-looking MOTDs that Guzelian tried to avoid.. this week is a straw monster that only makes that annoying straw-sucking sound, lol.. Ziggy (looking at Dr K): "I had a dream.. that we were on a date.." heheh :p).

I got online again once that was over.. Oh, I forgot to mention that my dad went out to refill a couple of his prescriptions that he had been out of for a little while now while I watched all my crap. He also visited the car lot. My dad has known the guy he got his car from for a long time, but we were both still shocked when he paid the month's car payment for my dad -- nearly $200 -- after my dad had told him how sick he had been lately. He also offered him to go watch a Colts football game with him. Wow.. Then my dad tried to same thing for the rent.. and the manager went to buy us some groceries. We were about to try and go ourselves, even though my dad felt he might not make it through the store.

And so we waited for him to return. And waited. And waited. And both fell asleep.. briefly. I watched The Assistants (lol, especially @ the girlfight) and Crash Course (in which I fell asleep during..).. But by the time 5PM hit, my dad was tired of waiting.. and I no longer felt like going today. The manager returned to the complex.. but never came to our apartment. So my dad finally took off down to the local WalMart grocery store since there still wasn't enough for supper today and I got back online for a while. My dad didn't return until a bit over an hour later, and really worn out. Once we got the groceries away, he sat down to relax a little before supper. If only I could cook more than out of the microwave.. or drive a car.. at 26 years old..

So like any Saturday night.. I just stayed online all damn night and bored again. :( The manager didn't come with those groceries until after 9PM and there wasn't much to it (milk, ice cream, bread). Nice gesture nonetheless, I guess.. Guess that's about it.

See ya.

no new pr rpm in uk / ratchet & clank acit date / gunslinger girl in home / today [Sep. 2nd, 2009|11:59 pm]

[Current Mood | discontent]

Oops. I guess with how the word got out there about the UK airing new episodes of Power Rangers RPM before the US.. it alerted Disney and they restarted the weekday run on Disney XD UK back to the beginning instead. So no three new episodes by week's end anymore. :( Oh well..

Sony has officially revealed that Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack In Time will be released on October 27th, and have also revealed the official cover art. Nice. I hear that travel in the game's universe will be more open this time around, sorta like a sandbox game. :p ..I see that new PS3 logo is officially 'the' logo now, replacing the old one on this cover art.. I may actually pre-order this one shortly before release.. only partly due to the pre-order bonuses. I'd like to have the Ratchet costume for PlayStation Home, but the nearest GameCrazy closed a few years back. I think I'd enjoy the Insomniac Moon from GameStop more anyway.. and they're right down the street here. :)

FUNimation will be bringing the first episode of their anime series Gunslinger Girl: Il Teatrino for free viewing in PlayStation Home's Theater starting tomorrow, September 3rd, until September 10th. The episode will also be able for free download on the PlayStation Store until September 17th. Coool. I enjoyed the first season of this one on IFC..

I awoke in the morning and had to finish up the previous entry. Oops.. I then pretty much stayed online all morning because my dad was watching the usual morning TV and he was still moping about our current predicament.. But I eventually went in there at about Noon and found him asleep. I eventually took advantage of this and watched the first six episodes of iCarly: Season 2 Volume 1 (or the first disc, counting the "movie" as a three-parter since the runtime is about right.. I enjoyed these, especially the movie that I hadn't seen before.. thanks again! :) ).

And then I followed that up with some more Saints Row 2 (just some minor rampaging in between some activities.. the EMT diversion was cool :p). I didn't stay on the game as long as usual because I had some new problems getting the cable modem working and connected to the PS3. But when I returned to my room, it was just fine. Hmm.. I got online to news-gather, then eventually had some supper.

In primetime, we watched Wipeout (heh), America's Got Talent (ha @ that ending :p) and True Blood (finally.. very good episode.. omg @ that ending.. like.. every other week :p). And then that was about it.. Oh, and my dad has big plans tomorrow to get some money on his phone and get the car to a mechanic. Hope it doesn't cost too much.

Meanwhile, my other leg has begun leaking during the last week or so as well. The rough skin or whatever it was just came off and it was wet underneath. And.. it just kept coming off. My dad noticed the new wave of odor from it and won't shut up about it. I'm afraid to worry him.. I guess.. so I have yet to tell him. The left leg isn't as bloated as the right was, but the right does still leak.. just not as much as it used to. I can't stand for too long without the muscles beginning to pain.. *sigh* I'm only a useless burden.

See ya.

pr rpm vol 2 dvd review / disney buys marvel / gow collection ps3 / today [Aug. 31st, 2009|11:59 pm]

[Current Mood | okay]

Linear Ranger has got an advanced copy of the September 8th DVD release of Power Rangers RPM, Volume 2: Race For Corinth and has already done a review of the title. All five episodes here will include the end credits during the episode (as aired on ABC Kids), unlike Volume 1 which only had one episode do that. :( I'll definitely still pick it up though. Just a bit disappointed about that..

After DVD sales of X-Men: The Animated Series burst WAY past their expectations (Vol 1 by 170% and Vol 2 by 150% lol), Disney is now set to acquire Marvel Entertainment for $4 Billion. I think SnoopsWarner of RangerBoard describes this news best... "Wow! This is bound to bring nothing but goodness to all involved! Disney have been quite successful with buyouts in the past, such as the Saban/Fox buyout, which essentially ruined every single franchise and property involved. Apart from Haim Saban, who made out like a bandit." lol. So true.. But could there possibly be a silver lining? "John Lasseter met with Marvel last week about a possible team-up between Marvel and Pixar and got 'pretty excited, pretty fast.' They say there's definitely an opportunity there." Interesting..

By popular demand, the God of War franchise will be revisited on PlayStation3 this holiday season. The God of War Collection will include "reworked versions" of both PS2 titles God of War and God of War II on a single Blu-ray Disc for just a $39.99 SRP. Cool... Think I should get it? :p

I finished up the previous entry, then played Saints Row 2 until 5AM. What was the use sleeping at night when my dad has decided to stay home from dialysis the next morning and watch all his usual morning TV. So I played the game all night, then went to sleep in the morning.. I awoke some hours later (almost 11AM), got online.. then slept a little more..

At about 1PM, I watched three more episodes of Dollhouse: Season 1 (aired Season 1 complete already.. I do have a new appreciation for this show now that I've see n the latter episodes closer together.. wish they hadn't canned Sarah Connor, but that may change when I see Summer Glau next season :p).. then played some more Saints Row 2 (final two Ronin missions completed.. only the Brotherhood remains on the map >:) ..odd how the game is making it simpler for me to complete a mission upon one or more retries though).

We had some supper, then I got online to news-gather. In primetime, I had a couple ABC Family shows to watch.. but I gave the TV over to my dad for the night and I pretty much stayed in my room all night online. He watched his local baseball game and that 3-hour country concert special on ABC. And that was about it..? See ya.

Power Rangers SPD Executive Producer Greg Aronowitz has posted a new Part 2 blog entry, now showcasing how Emperor Gruumm was brought to life. Cool. :)

I awoke in the morning all groggy and feeling horrible, but luckily that eventually went away. My dad watched some news, then went back to bed.. I watched The Soup (haha), followed by the Degrassi Goes Hollywood movie (eh, it was pretty good.. the latter half was better) and a new episode of Kamen Rider Dragon Knight (episode 118: "The Brothers Cho".. damn, I keep forgetting its at 11AM instead of 11:30.. I finished Degrassi like 3 minutes into it and had to rewind the DVR :p ..great episode here though :) ).

My dad went off on an errand, then I got online for a bit. Bu then it was time for an all-new Power Rangers RPM -- episode 1920: "Heroes Among Us". I actually enjoyed this one more than last week, even though it featured pr rpm 1920 spoilers )

I got online for a bit, then we watched Shooter on Blu-ray. Awesome movie. That's why I upgraded from DVD to Blu after all. A one-man army against a government conspiracy? References to real-life conspiracies thrown in as well? Definitely awesome IMO. I had a problem getting immersed in it though, possibly due to my dad continuously talking and the cat getting in my face, etc. :p ..Once it ended, I found The Cat In The Hat (the live-action version) on TV and watched it.. much to my dad's dismay.. I liked it though. The slightly more adult humor hidden within was pretty funny.

I got online for a while.. er, the rest of the night. We eventually had some supper.. and that was about it? See ya..

[Current Mood | crappy]

ABC has now announced that its scifi remake series V will premiere on Tuesday November 3rd at 8PM ET. That's quite a bit earlier than I was expecting, since most mid-season series don't air until January. I'm really excited to see this series, especially after seeing this trailer. It's executive produced by Scott Peters of The 4400 and stars Laura Vandervoort as another sexy alien. :)

I awoke too early in the morning and got online.. then eventually fell asleep again. But a few hours later, I awoke once more and soon watched iCarly (The N finally aired an episode that I hadn't seen before.. haha, Dingo = Disney and the ribbing they gave them about how silly their shows are :p ..and due to that, I liked this show a bit more than usual, nice), then eventually rested on some of the VH1 Top 20 (*sees recap* damn, all my favorite videos were in the first half that I missed :( ).. before the new episode of Kamen Rider Dragon Knight (117: "The Power Of Three".. another really good episode :) I look forward to next week.. there's a new "First Look" at about 5:18 into this collection of promos, showing off the upcoming Kamen Rider Siren.. she's cute ;) ).

My dad took off somewhere like he usually does and I got online for about an hour.. until the new episode of Power Rangers RPM -- episode 1919: "Three's A Crowd". Nope, they didn't change it at the last minute like last time in Mystic Force. We now officially have two PR episodes with the same name. Heh. This first Judd Lynn episode was pretty good. pr rpm 1919 spoilers )

Next, I watched the first five episodes of Get Smart: Season 3 (lol, even more a live-action cartoon than ever before.. at least these episodes seemed that way), followed by Warehouse 13 (good episode.. and now I'm caught up, yay) and Leverage (haha, another very good episode). It was nearing 5PM by this point, so I got online for a while.

We had some supper.. and then I pretty much stayed online all night. Yup, I wasted all that time again. Do you know I still have like the last five or six episodes of 90210 to watch on the bedroom DVR? lol, I do. I think it got pretty stupid at the point where I stopped, but I should really get them watched before the new season starts. Hmm. But not tonight though. All my time's gone already. :(

See ya.

[Current Mood | blah]

KyL416 has revealed the next Power Rangers RPM episode title and spoiler description. Episode 1926: "Beyond A Doubt" will premiere on October 3rd... pr rpm 1926 spoiler )

With FUNimation dropping the license to release Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003) onto DVD months ago, this leaves no one to release the remaining half-season sets as well as unreleased episodes included the much-anticipated Turtle team-up movie (aka three-part episode) Turtles Forever. :( There was hinting the Shout! Factory would pick up the license a while back, but now that doesn't look likely. Shout!'s Brian Ward posted to the company's official forum that the company is "not pursuing the Turtles right now". :(

I awoke in the morning... and.... got online. But eventually, I watched Fullmetal Alchemist OVA Collection (35 minutes, how very short.. and I'm now reconsidering my DVD double-dip of the FMA movie because there's a trailer on this disc for an upcoming Blu-ray :p). My dad returned home from dialysis and we watched some morning TV.. briefly.. before I got online again.

After the news was over, I returned to the living room and found my dad asleep.. so I took over the TV. He eventually woke and went to bed anyway. I watched two episodes of Warehouse 13 (pretty good show, not bad..) followed by a second try at Glee (I maybe watched half or less last time before giving up on it.. but this time I liked it more.. damnit, yet another series to get behind on in the fall).

My video game -- Saints Row 2: Collector's Edition -- arrived via UPS during that. The game has just become a Greatest Hit and Amazon was offering the CE version for $29.99 as well. So I thought why not. It took me quite a while to start up the game, not to mention I barely had enough room for the game's 3.8GB install. Ack. When you start the game, you can customize your main character however you want.. even down to its walk and voice. The entire area seems available to explore right off the bat. Unlike GTA, the cop missions become fuzz missions, where instead of becoming a cop you only play one on TV.. with plenty of mosaicked nudity. lol. Didn't like how another player randomly entered my game since I was online though. The other player can even pause your game. Luckily, the option came up to kick him out so I did. :/

At about 6PM, my dad began bitching about seeing his news so I soon shut off the PS3 and got online to news-gather. We eventually had some supper.. In primetime, we watched Surviving Suburbia (haha), two new episodes of The Assistants (lol, very good episodes), Dark Blue (a bit behind on this one.. it's episode 2 :p) and The Soup (lol).

So tonight, I was thinking about how it seems as if my leg may be getting better. It's not leaking or hurting as much as it used to. And of course, soon after that.. it started hurting again. It figures.. See ya.

Kyl416 has revealed another Power Rangers RPM episode title and spoiler description. Episode 1925: "Key To The Past" will premiere on September 26th. pr rpm 1925 spoilers )

I awoke early in the morning again and then got online to finish the previous entry. I fell asleep even before 11PM last night and slept until almost 5AM. Damn.. I was online for about two or three hours, then returned to the living room and watched Degrassi TNG (not a bad episode), The Assistants (haha).. and eventually The Soup again (fell asleep like halfway through it last night :/ ).

But after a little while, it was finally time for a long-awaited new episode of Kamen Rider Dragon Knight -- 116: "The Hero Of Gramercy Heights". Great episode. I really enjoyed it. :) And I've really missed this show.. I got online again.. for about an hour.. then it was time for a new episode of Power Rangers RPM -- episode 1918: "Belly Of The Beast". This is the final Eddie Guzelian episode.. and he goes out quite well. :) pr rpm 1918 spoilers )

After a bit of a break, I nearly lose control of the TV. But I take it back and watch the first six episodes of Dragon Ball Z: Season 7 (this has been sitting unwatched for quite a long time.. glad to get Other World Tournament out of the way, I liked the Great Saiyaman Saga more.. maybe it's about time I pick up Season 8 & 9.. and GT 1 & 2.. and DB 1 when it comes out rather soon :p ). My dad took off to a few more stores while I watched these, then returned almost as the last episode of the disc was ending. I then gave him back the TV and got online for bit.

I returned the living room out of boredom.. and fell asleep again. We eventually had some supper and watched the first half of Idiocracy.. before my dad changed it to his damn race. I soon got back online.. and that was about it. Except that I watched most of the first episode of the original The Prisoner (most because my cable disconnected with like 5 minutes left). I totally didn't know there was a TV series back in the 1960s with the same name as my short story.. and has a similar plot. Only instead of a literal prison, the main character's being held in some creepy "village" with huge white balloons as guards (no, really). The first episode pretty much explained everything that was going on too. I'm hoping AMC's remake in a few months is better than that. But I think my story's better than both though, but only because of the "9/11 inside job" stuff in my story. :p

Eh.. see ya..

KyL416 has revealed the next Power Rangers RPM episode title and spoiler description. Episode 1924: "Ancient History" will premiere on Saturday September 19th. Additionally. BurgundyRanger has confirmed that new episodes will air during every Saturday in September, as well as the first Saturday of October. But after that comes an eight or ten-week hiatus due to ABC's sports coverage. The final six episodes will then be premiered during December and January. :/ pr rpm 1924 spoilers )

At San Diego Comic-Con, creator Seth MacFarlane revealed that a future episode of Family Guy that dealt with the touchy subject of abortion may not make it to broadcast on FOX. And then a few days later, FOX confirmed they would not air the episode, titled "Partial Terms of Endearment". The episode is now likely to show up on a future DVD release instead.

This is getting sooo damn annoying. I'm getting so damn tired of waking up so damn early. My dad wakes up at 5AM everyday, so its probably due to him. He's always up first.. and then I am. And of course I can't get back to sleep, so all I have left to do while my dad watches his bullshit news for many many hours is get online to waste some time. And that gets pretty damn boring after awhile. Especially when it happens every damn day.

And then as if he read my mind.. or took my comment about him watching hours of repeating news.. he said I could watch whatever I watched. So eventually, I watched That's Impossible (the "Weather Warfare" episode I linked to a few days ago.. my dad found it hard to believe, even though it was scientifically explained how it's possible.. but all that probably went right over his head) and then Michael & Michael Have Issues (lol, my favorite episode so far.. very funny.. I think this one won my DVD purchase.. if it ever comes out.. and if I'm able to buy it when it does..).

I fell asleep for a little while as my dad watched some morning TV. Then I got the PS3 online and checked out PlayStation Home. All day. Because it wasn't back online from its content update until around 5PM. Ugh. I killed most of the afternoon (while impatiently waiting) on more Namco Museum Essentials.. then finally got into PlayStation Home. There is quite a lot of new stuff this week.. hence the impatience.

Since it got back online so late, I opted to keep the PS3 online up to 7PM. We had some supper in there somewhere.. then I got online to news-gather.. In primetime, there wasn't anything on TV. And due to recent events, I wasn't really in the mood to watch anything anyway. I ended up just staying online most of the night and my dad eventually took off outside to talk to an actual human being (unlike me).

And.. that's about it? Goodni-- er, see ya..

KyL416 has revealed the next Power Rangers RPM episode title and spoiler description. Episode 1923: "And... Action" is likely to premiere on September 12th. This episode has a rather interesting description as well...
PRRPM Episode 1923 - "And... Action" - For the first time ever join Ziggy as he takes you behind the scenes of Power Rangers. See how explosions and stunts are really done. As well as the funny moments that don’t make it into the episode, but keep the Power Ranger set a lively place to work as a ranger.
A behind-the-scenes special in the middle of a season? "For the first time ever"? Ooookay.. :p

I awoke in the morning.. at a more normal time for once. Perhaps because I woke up briefly at 2AM rather than the usual 5AM.. I watched the last two episodes of Beyond The Break (wow, better be another season after that ending..), then got online for a while. My dad returned home from dialysis, then soon went to bed for a nap. I then retook the TV and watched another MST3k ("Master Ninja I".. verrry bad movie.. ha's @ early 1980s Demi Moore).

After some more time online, I returned and finally watched Watchmen: Director's Cut. I definitely liked it more than I did in the theater, due to the 2 or 3 new things I actually noticed. All the other minutes were most likely extending present scenes.. I only paused twice during the three hours and six minutes. Phew. Glad to own this great film on disc. :) ..After some time considering whether or not to check out PlayStation Home, I moved on and got online to news-gather (after 5PM). And we soon had some supper.

In primetime, I didn't feel like watching another movie after.. that one. :p So we just watched Surviving Suburbia (hahaha) and Goode Family (ugh, find it more annoying every time I watch), followed by a couple repeats of According To Jim (lol) and 20/20 - Over A Barrel: The Truth About Oil (they stayed mainstream for the most part, but they did speak a little truth I didn't expect.. little bits).

I returned to my room for the night.. and watched Conan. He did a skit where they visited Bang Zoom Studios, the anime dubbing studio. lol. Very funny. They meet MMPR alum Tony Oliver and dub some lines for Ghost In The Shell. lol @ them making sure to mention all the fan service and bare breasts. :p

Well.. see ya.

KyL416 has revealed the next Power Rangers RPM episode title and spoiler description. Episode 1922: "The Dome Dolls" is likely to air on September 5th. What's with all these three-word titles post-Guzelian? This is the fourth one in a row now and it starts right after his last episode. :/ pr rpm 1922 spoiler )

Looks like many others held back and also didn't buy the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987): Season 7 DVDs earlier this year when Lionsgate released it in four separate one-disc volumes in toy-style packaging. Hooray. Because on November 3rd, Lionsgate now has plans to re-release Season 7 as one boxed set. :) But first, Lionsgate will release Season 8 on September 1st. Pretty awesome cover art for that release, btw. :) ..I better get to watching my Season 6 DVD soon..

So I watched Knowing the other day. Man, was it bad. It was mostly due to the second half, but still. Sooo glad I passed on buying that one.. I awoke in the morning to my dad walking around at the usual 4AM. Ugh. After a short amount of additional sleep, I awoke again and got online for a little bit. Er, a long bit actually. Matchbox Twenty's "How Far We've Come" would make a perfect fan music video for Power Rangers. Use the "it's all coming to an end" with the apocalyptic RPM plot and how the series is coming to an end with it and then use the whole "let's see how far we've come" to look back on all the past seasons. It'd be pretty cool in the right hands. But I definitely don't have the resources or time for it. :(

After quite a while online, I finally exited my room and had some breakfast.. But then came the exhaustive procedure or getting ready to venture out into the world once again. And then I headed out to media buy...

First, I headed to Best Buy and picked up Watchmen: Director's Cut Blu-ray (been waiting impatiently for what seems like forever to finally own this one.. the lady price-matched it from $24.99 to $20.99.. guess she couldn't notice that the matching price was actually $20.29.. *shakes fist @ 70 cents* :p) and Robot Chicken Star Wars Episode II DVD (lol @ the skate tour voucher.. it's coming to my town too.. I've never roller skated though, probably never will..).

I got my usual icee, dropped off the discs at home, then I braved the grocery store once again. I dropped them off at home so that the car could stay unlocked so that I could get out there as soon as I was done. But I ended up returning to the car after him. The underused legs cramped a little.. then.. quite a bit on the way home. *sigh*

After getting situated back at home (which took a while), I watched Aaron Stone (lol, this one so reminded me of an MMPR plot.. Aaron is effected by something that gives him a more abrasive personality.. oh, and sparky lightning eyes :p), The Spectacular Spider-Man (whoa, great episode.. but that ending took me completely by surprise and left me on the edge of my seat.. and then it was abruptly over :/) and two more episodes of Beyond The Break (back to work.. though better than watching / VHSing something I have seen before).

Next, I watched The Incredible Hulk on GREEN-RAY (er, Blu-ray in a cooool green Blu-ray case.. enjoyed the movie all over again and am looking forward to the upcoming movies in this series even more :) ).. followed by the Anime Expo 2009 Power Rangers Panel (well, No Pink Spandex's AVIs anyway.. thanks Lisa J and all the others in those end credits! :) also thanks to Daniel Southworth for finally explaining why Jason David Frank so thoroughly pronounced "Sea of Tranquility" in Forever Red, lol :p). I then got online to news-gather and inventory the new discs..

We eventually had some supper.. then I lost track of time online.. and stayed online for an extra hour while my dad refused to give up the TV. He was watching a local minor league baseball game (home team, of course). But at 9PM, we watched most of America's Got Talent (yeah, baseball overtook this show too.. during the commercial breaks.. and whole segments.. :/). Then my dad completely ignored the TV while I watched 10 Things I Hate About You (lol, very good episode this week) and Ruby & The Rockits (eh it was bad.. I guess.....). And finally I returned to my room for the night.

[Current Mood | discontent]

I awoke quite early in the morning and eventually got three more of Caitlin's Way done with as well as last night's Aaron Stone (ooh, hot chick.. oh, and episode was good too) before my dad woke up. He watched his news again and I fell asleep again. I awoke a few hours later to find my dad was was asleep again. Once he awoke, we got ready and headed out.. to media buy..

Amazon links on the cover arts, ain't that just neat. :p ..So first, I headed to Target and picked up Power Rangers RPM, Volume 1: Start Your Engines on DVD for just $14.99. The case it comes in sure is flimsy and Disney doesn't even provide an episode selection insert this time. The disc is confirmed to include the first five episodes of the season though, and with full closing credits.. except for "Handshake" which is the aired credits-over-closing-scene version (screencaps).. I moved on to Best Buy and picked up Reno 911!: The Complete Sixth Season Uncensored! DVD and the The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe Blu-ray. Just $17.99 for Reno and I price-matched Target's $19.99 for Narnia even though it wasn't in any ad. Neato.

I got the usual icee (yum) before heading to the grocery store to pick up some things for the first time this month.. and possibly the only time this month. There was definitely too much walking involved there. I felt worse and worse as I continued through the store, then I got a leg cramp right before I was due to get back in the car. Awesome. And I really shouldn't forget to mention my dad's endless bullshit. He wants me to do something about it.. but he thinks its something else entirely than what it actually is. So what he wants me to do most likely isn't going to help things.

We returned home, then I got online for a little while to inventory the new discs while my dad watched his news and some of that Michael Jackson thing. Blah.. Once he gave the TV back, I watched.. four more DVRed episodes of iCarly and then five more episodes of Power Rangers Lost Galaxy (good episodes, capped by one of my all-time favorites -- "The Rescue Mission".. loved that episode.. considering watching it again tomorrow, lol). Then I got online to news-gather.

In primetime, we watched 10 Things I Hate About You (expectations were a bit too high I guess.. I still liked it though :) ), That 70s Show (just the ABC Family rerun to take up some time.. I've been meaning to download and rewatch this series though) and America's Got Talent (too much suck = suck show damnit.. quit editing it like that). Then I returned to my room and listened to the non-sucky tracks on Now 31 (my collection's still complete damnit.. not counting those genre releases of late). And.. that was about it..?

See ya.

[Current Music Download|KSM - I Want You To Want Me (from ABC Family's 10 Things I Hate About You) @ MediaFire]

I awoke in the morning... Well, not really. Like most nights as of late, I've been only able to get some or very little sleep. Due to my leg, I've had to sleep in the living room. And my dad couldn't sleep this night due to some health problems of his own. So just as I was about to fall asleep, my dad comes into the living room and watches some TV, talks to the cat, walks about etc etc. So those three hours were ruined by that. When my dad finally got the hint and returned to his bed, it was already too late for me to sleep. I watched / transferred some more Caitlin's Way to VHS and also watched last night's new Degrassi TNG in between (wow, really good episode).

Then I just wasted time on CW4Kids (looks like I missed the Kamen Rider Dragon Knight "first look".. sucks.. and now 4Kids has removed all mention of the TMNT 25th Anniversary movie from their promos, even privating the YouTube version of the promo) and PlayStation Home (woohoo, free stuff in other regions that I've been missing out on.. damnit). My dad saw Home on the screen and returned to bed again. Yay.

But finally it was time for a new episode of Power Rangers RPM -- episode 1916: "In Or Out". Great episode here this week. Really enjoyed it. I.. wasn't even going to make a full day's entry today until I saw this episode and knew I just had to talk about it. pr rpm 1916 spoilers ) Again, a great episode and I look forward to the next. :)

After that, I.. wrote everything up to this point (see last paragraph :p), then returned to PlayStation Home for a little while. Wow, all that waiting in Japan Home for a one-song concert and giving my avatar the option to hold a leek... Nice... I soon got bored of that, and returned to Comedy Central.. for what ended up being the rest of the afternoon. Lots of stand-up. With my depressing health, I needed comedy to watch.. and didn't really have much of that. Hence my discovery of iCarly. *cough*

We each got supper from a different fast food place (I paid for mine, he left), then his NASCAR soon started. I returned to my room and got uncomfortably online.. and followed that up with some uncomfortable bedroom TV watching. Haven't done that for a while, for the obvious reason.. And the rest of the evening was pretty much uneventful. Yup. Nothing else. The evening rain in our area stopped just about everybody in our neighborhood from lighting their money--er, fireworks. We could barely hear the annual fireworks display on top of the skyscraper downtown.. but that was about it. Blah.

Oh, and my leg got all swelly again tonight for some reason. It was painful. Just as I had twittered, the improvement in my health is never meant to last... But at least it once again began to leak and lose that feeling later into the night......... See ya.

KyL416 has revealed the next Power Rangers RPM episode title and spoiler description. Episode 1920: "Heroes Among Us" will air on August 15th. :) pr rpm 1920 spoiler )

A new promo aired this morning on CW4Kids, for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 25th Anniversary Special. Unfortunately, no one has been able to get it up on YouTube yet, but there are four blurry screenshots to tide us over until then. The screenshots plainly show that this three-part episode (that will later be released as an uncut movie on DVD & Blu-ray) will feature a joining of three different TMNT universes -- those from the original Mirage comic, the classic 1980s series and the 2003 series. Wow. The promo claims it will air after a top ten countdown of TMNT 2k3 episodes as voted on by you on the 4Kids.TV website.. that begins in September.. Sooo looking forward to this. :)

I awoke at like 5AM or something.. but had absolutely nothing to watch. So I soon fell back to sleep for a few more hours.. I awoke to my dad watching.. The Daily Show.. and wondering why its on Comedy Central.. I eventually took over the TV though and opted to watched the first five episodes of Family Guy: Volume 7 (lol, nice.. though the new uncensored-swearing-in-every-episode thing is starting to feel forced, ugh) and Batman: The Brave And The Bold (eh, it was okay I guess..).. Then I ran out of things to watch again..

But eventually, it was time for a new Power Rangers RPM -- episode 1915: "Ghosts". I thought this one was even better than last week. Great episode. Though with that ending leaving us hanging for two weeks? Argh.. Again, I didn't know what to watch. So I changed to some Punk'd reruns I found on MTV2 and fell in and out of sleep while my dad watched them. Hours later, I finally decided to return to room and get online. We eventually had a small supper. This is the third day I've found myself not all that hungry. Or maybe that's only a reaction to the nauseous feeling I get whenever I eat lately.

I stayed online for a surprising amount of time.. then I returned to the living room and fell asleep again watching my dad's mostly boring TV ((America's Most Wanted and the new all-Country Singing Bee). When I could take any more of the latter, I returned to my room and got online once again.. and that was about it again.. See ya.

I awoke at around 7AM.. right from a rather strange and frightening dream. But I guess somewhat funny now that I look back on it. My cat was playing with another cat. I turn away from a second and I hear a snap. I turn around quickly to see my cat's front paws pushing down on the other cat's head. He had broken the other cat's neck. I quickly beat his bottom until he got off of the other cat, then felt like I needed to help the cat even though it was most likely too late. I then awoke, breathing faster than usual...

So I got the newspaper and checked its ads for Tuesday (*prepares retroactive price-match* :) ..still no Ratchet & Clank advertised though, damn). And after my dad watched some of his news, I watched two episodes of Bleach (pretty good episodes I guess..), UFO Hunters (Aurora Texas episode.. pretty interesting.. for the parts I managed to stay awake) and Pushing Daisies (the very last episode ever.. and it ends on a somewhat-cliffhanger.. awesome.... damnit).

Next, I set some DVR recordings.. then I gave the TV over to my dad a little while before his NASCAR and got online for a while. Or.. all afternoon. I had wanted to watch more from the bedroom DVR.. or possibly even play something on the PS2 for once (also connected to bedroom TV).. but oh well. Before I knew it, all the time was gone and it was time for supper already..

So once my dad's news was over, we watched a couple movies -- Marley & Me (very good movie, funny.. and then sad.. right on the edge of purchase/not purchase right now, hmm.. eh, maybe when the Blu's cheap) and Good Dick (a provocative title = more attention.. and that's how it caught me :p ..and it's actually a pretty good movie too.. hottie Marianna Palka stars, writes, directs and produces this film, pretty impressive.. and unfortunately there's no US DVD for me to buy, damn :( ). And after those, I returned to my room for the night.

I get a kick out of my local ABC affiliate's new weather radar system. They've dubbed it RPM and there's a commercial where they state that "RPM is only on RTV6". And every time I see that ad, I think "yes, that is true". Heh. But really, they stole the name from Power Rangers. The commercials only just started in the last few weeks or so. :p See ya.

KyL416 has revealed the next Power Rangers RPM episode title and spoiler description. Episode 1919: "Three's A Crowd", Judd Lynn's first full RPM episode as Executive Producer, will premiere on August 8th. Haha. Another episode title recycle. Let's hope they catch this one in time too. :p A Power Rangers in Space episode title was almost reused in Mystic Force, but was changed before it aired. And now they're reusing a Power Rangers Wild Force title. :p pr rpm 1919 spoilers )

I awoke at 5AM and finished up the previous entry, then watched Best Week Ever (kept falling asleep, so I kept rewinding.. damn). I finally gave in and fell back to sleep for a few hours. I awoke again at about 8:30AM, a little before the time that I had set my alarm for.. I soon watched Batman: The Brave And The Bold (good episode.. Jonah Hex's pistols shooting yellow laser pellets was sorta stupid, but I enjoyed the character.. so there's a Jonah Hex movie in production, huh? :) and Megan Fox is in it..), Raising The Bar (finally found time for it.. good start) and Iron Man: Armored Adventures (the two-part premiere where each part actually stands pretty well on its own.. and I actually enjoyed this more than I expected to :) ).

After a short wait, it was time for a new episode of Power Rangers RPM -- episode 1914: "Embodied". This was a great episode to return on. Very good episode. A new multi-episode storyline begins when Dillon gets hypnotized and finds a new clue to his past. This sends all the Rangers out of the dome and off to a nearby evacuated city. But Venjix himself stands in their way (oooh).. I got a kick out of the Go-onger reference, and there were some great battles too (besides those annoying Kalishplosions). And I especially like the ending as well. ;)

My dad chose to run the washer throughout the entire episode, so I tried my best to pay attention over the loud noise. He always seems to do it at the worst, probably on purpose. *turns TV volume WAY high in response* ..My dad took off somewhere, so I got online for a bit, then eventually watched The Rocker (not a bad movie.. I guess I liked it.. yum @ Emma Stone). My dad returned home for some of the latter parts, then I watched Mental (not a single word spoken by David Carradine's character :/ ..but I found it difficult to pay attention, so..) and eventually The International Sexy Ladies Show (no problem with not paying attention here.. I was surprised by how much G4 was able to show at 5:30PM, so my eyes were firmly peeled :p ..my dad fell asleep.. luckily).

I got back online again for a little while. I eventually had some supper.. then headed to the bedroom DVR and watched Ugly Betty (the two-hour finale.. very good episodes, and the ending.. so expected.. well, one of them anyway :p)... Then I got back online again.. and that was pretty much it..

See ya..?

KyL416 has revealed the next Power Rangers RPM episode title and spoiler description. Episode 1918: "Belly Of The Beast" will premiere on August 1st.. and is Eddie Guzelian's last episode executive producing. :( pr rpm 1918 spoilers )

Also, a Power Rangers RPM, Volume 2 - Race To Corinth DVD has already showed up for pre-order on Amazon. It is set for release on September 8th, almost exactly two months after the release of Volume 1 on July 7th. This is encouraging, since they never revealed following volume(s) before the first volumes' release with last season. Perhaps they've read all these positive reviews coming from the fans and are a bit more confident in good DVD sales this time around. I know I'm definitely picking these up on release date. :)

Better.. really late than never..? Click the corresponding retailer for their ad for the week of June 7th to 13th: Best Buy & Target. What better way to encourage a transition to Blu than to have a new release DVD's first week sale price jacked up in order to close in on its Blu-ray price..? Nah. I don't get it either. Both stores will have the Fired Up!: Unrated DVD for $19.99 (ack) while the Blu-ray will go for $26.99 at Best Buy. I was considering The International (and why not? it's about a banking system that controls the world), but I might as well wait until the Blu-ray goes on sale. I'll probably only get Get Smart: Season 3 at Target's $16.99 as well as The Big Bang Theory: Season 1 for Target's $13.99. I wonder if Big Bang is a part of Best Buy's big $12.99 TV on DVD sale though. Some are listed at the link (none I'm interested in or don't already have), but others will be found on their website by Sunday.. Also of note is $29.99 for Reaper: Season 2 at Best Buy.

I awoke to my alarm at 8AM, then watched Batman: The Brave And The Bold (good episode), The Soup (lol), Best Week Ever (haha) and the last four episodes of True Blood: Season 1 (I was watching two today.. but with my dad sick, not wanting to go anywhere and just staying in bed.. I fit in the other two episodes too.. great finale especially, ready for the season premiere on June 14th now :) ).

And then my dad finally felt like going out soon after I finished these episodes. We went to grocery store and a couple other stores (Strawberried Peanut Butter M&Ms! lol yum) then returned home. My dad found Colts training camp coverage on TV, so he watched that. Then I got bored of that rather quickly, returned to my room and got online for a while.

But eventually, we had some supper.. and I went to the bedroom DVR and watched another Ugly Betty (another pretty good episode.. only the two-hour finale left now) and two more episodes of Supernatural (including the season finale.. the one before it, eh.. but the finale.. wow, interesting to say the least). Then I got back online and that was about it again.

See ya.

And now all of a sudden, spoiler descriptions have again surfaced for Power Rangers. Check out these descriptions, for Power Rangers RPM episodes 1914 to 1917, below... pr rpm spoiler descriptions 14-17 )

Adness Entertainment has now partnered with Namco Bandai Games in order to develop handheld and console video games based on Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. Cooool. The games could begin appearing in retail stores as soon as November 2009. :)

20th Century Fox has announced Dragon Ball: Evolution... The "Z" Edition... for release on DVD & Blu-ray on July 28th. Special features will include eight deleted scenes, three featurettes, a music video and a gag reel. The Blu-ray will add a digital copy and a game.. No matter how bad the reviews are, I'll probably pick it up anyway. Just hope there's a good first-week price on the Blu-ray. I'm sorta hoping it has batter art than that DVD. Ack @ Goku's face. :/

Warner & Universal have now announced some new TV seasons coming to DVD before their series' next seasons. Warner Bros has set Gossip Girl: The Complete Second Season for an August 18th release, with One Tree Hill: The Complete Sixth Season on August 25th and The Big Bang Theory: The Complete Second Season on September 15th. Universal will release both DVD & Blu-ray versions of Heroes: The Complete Third Season on September 1st and The Office: The Complete Fifth Season on September 8th. Yes, US Office on Blu-ray for the first time ever. :)

I awoke in the morning and finished up the previous entry, then soon watched The Whitest Kids U Know (lol) before getting on PlayStation Home for a bit. My dad eventually returned home from dialysis, a bit later than usual and feeling worse than usual. I let him watch Ellen, even though we eventually found it was a rerun, as well as some news.

When he was done with the TV, I took over and played some more inFamous (really liking this game), then checked out PlayStation Home for a while (fun with avatars, lol.. couldn't believe it when these guys thought my overweight girl avatar was still hot >_>). My dad wasn't feeling good at all, so he slept most of the afternoon.. I shut off the PS3 at about 6PM and got online to news-gather. Then my dad woke up and we had some supper..

In primetime, my dad was sleeping again. So I watched Reaper first (season finale.. and possibly my favorite episode this season, nice :) ..please bring it back). Then my dad woke up and we watched The Goode Family (Mike Judge saw his King of the Hill cashcow finally failing, so he created this carbon copy family comedy? I think I don't like it more than KotH.. I just can't stand the overabundance of "green" crap these days, so this show that's full of it? ugh.. did like the vegan dog's search for any kind of meat he could find though, haha), Surviving Suburbia (haha, pretty good.. hmm) and The Unusuals (very good episode.. damn them for canceling it :( ).

And.. that was about it..? See ya.

[Current Mood | exhausted]

A secondhand source at Rangerboard has again confirmed more Power Rangers RPM episode titles. Episode 1916: "In Or Out".. will premiere on July 4th. :p The following week, July 11th, will see the debut of episode 1917: "Prisoners". The weeks of July 18th and July 25th will then be more repeats..

I awoke pretty early in the morning.. and soon watched Reno 911! (lol), The Soup Presents (haha), Free Radio (lol.. aww, finale already), Batman: The Brave And The Bold (this episode reminded me of Nightwing.. an origin episode about him would be cool), Transformers Animated (the last episode ever, hooray! ..fell asleep like halfway through, then tried watching that part again.. and fell asleep again.. oh well *delete*) and four more episodes of Get Smart: Season 2 (lol, especially @ the "all Asians looks alike" bit.. bet they'd never pull off something like that on TV today.. the Asian woman was hott.. then I remember that she must be really old by now, since this show is nearly 40 years old.. six episodes to go).

At about the time Power Rangers RPM started, I began feeling somewhat weak. I didn't know why. So I watched episode 1913: "Brother's Keeper". What a great episode this week. I really enjoyed it. Ziggy: "Is there a reason why you won't call us by our real names?" Dr K: "There's a reason for everything." That was a real Zordon moment, wasn't it? :p Too bad all the reasons may not be revealed though.. During the episode, my Code Geass Part 3 DVD arrived in the mail. Yay. Now my Season 1 is finally complete. Bring on Season 2. Best Buy better stock the damn thing on July 21st..

I got online for a bit. I was still weak, yet wanted to go to the grocery store. In fact, I've wanted to go since Thursday. So even though I was feeling all weak, we got ready and heeded over to the grocery store. As I walked through the store, the weak feeling got worse and worse. And they didn't even have what I was looking for. Damnit. My dad noticed I wasn't feeling good, but barely mentioned it.. and actually laughed a few times..

We returned home and I was feeling worse than ever. The weakness was now joined by what felt like a fever (but not to the touch) and my throat got really dry and hot too. Also, I had brief bouts of pain throughout my body. I got online for a bit, but my dad complained.. so I returned to the living room and then fell asleep.. for about five hours.. I woke a couple times, but the horrible feeling consisted. It eventually went away for the most part by the end of those five hours. I took some tylenol and that helped a bit.. then I soon got online again as slight headache came on. And I nearly fell down a couple times.. *sigh*

And.. that was pretty much it.. Still not feeling all that great. :( My thinks it was my blood sugar acting up, but I think it's more likely to be my recent lack of sleep. One night, I think I only slept for like three hours. A few other nights I'd go to sleep at about 2 or 3AM, then wake up at 6 or 7AM. :/ ..See ya..

FuryDiamond has posted a message to his RangerCrew forum from one of his "sources".. that may or may not be fired Power Rangers RPM executive producer Eddie Guzelian.. that mentions how Eddie Guzelian's work during the first eighteen episodes is being altered to be more like the craptacular Disney seasons of yore. "Judd Chip Lynn and Koichi Sakamato in particular have been going back and cutting out full drama scenes with actors to replace it with more slow motion explosions, fighting, and lame foot on the gas shots. They have been done...get a clue! People loved the first 3 episodes because they had story / character moments. Blitz was an amazing episode at start and end, but the middle was over run with crap that Koichi put in because he gets kick backs from toy companies the more the morphed Ranger suits are on screen. Eg. go back to Doctor K ep and watch when Gem and Gemma hand her the birthday pencil. You see maybe 2 colors when she looks at it. What was written was that the pencil is actually 5 colors as she rotates it to see green, yellow, blue, red and black. A beautiful moment cut short so that more cheese could be screened to sell toys." A shame. :( Bastards..

It's the first day of the network upfront presentations and Fox has announced their 2009-2010 TV schedule. Click here to check out trailers for the new series. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is the major omission from their schedule. And to tell you the truth, I'd almost prefer Terminator over Dollhouse, which has been picked up. :( Though I do admit Terminator slumped a little there plotwise in the middle of the season.. Dollhouse will remain at its current Friday timeslot and be joined by a couple sitcoms at 8PM & 8:30PM ET ( :/ ). Fringe will now join Bones on the Thursday night schedule.. opposite CSI and Grey's Anatomy (*coughhomicidecough*). House & Lie To Me are on the Monday night schedule, with the latter being replaced by Day 8 of 24 in midseason. The comic-inspired Human Target will also join the Wednesday line-up at midseason.. and looks like it wouldn't stay there all that long.. Seth MacFarlane's ruthless domination of Sunday night continues with the Family Guy spin-off The Cleveland Show taking the 8:30PM ET timeslot right after Simpsons. :/ And arriving to fill the Saturday late-night spot vacated by MadTV will be The Wanda Sykes Show..

Also, here's some additional upfront presentation news bits... ABC has canceled Samantha Who; CBS has renewed Rules of Engagement (why?!?!); both Melrose Place and Vampire Diaries have been picked up by The CW; ABC has canceled The Unusuals (booo!! ..but at least the remaining episodes begin May 27th); and --best for last-- NBC has renewed Chuck (hooray!!! :) ).

Okay, so I was wrong.. for the 2395645685725th time.. On July 28th (the magical San Diego Comic-Con DVD release date, it seems), Sony Pictures will release The Spectacular Spider-Man: The Complete First Season onto DVD. The 2-Disc Collector's Set will include all thirteen episodes of the hit show's first season, as well as two new behind-the-scenes featurettes -- "Spider-Man: Re-Animated" & "Stylizing Spidey". And like the previous DVD volumes, the episodes will again be presented in anamorphic widescreen with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio. All this for a $25.95 SRP.. Damn, I was getting ready to finally watch all my volumes together.. and now I'll probably wait for this and never watch them at all. Haha. I wonder if that theme song music video from the Volume 1 DVD will be on this set though.. Meanwhile, Disney XD will debut the second season of The Spectacular Spider-Man on June 22nd, with two back-to-back premiere episodes. :)

PlayStation Home Community Manager CydoniaX has revealed that v1.21 of Home will likely arrive this coming Thursday, but that picture frames still will not be available right away. :( She also hints that "it's a good idea to hang out in Home during E3", as if something special's going to happen then. Some have also speculated that the resolution of Home's ARG "Xi" will also occur around the time of E3...

I awoke in the morning and immediately watched The Mighty Boosh (haha) and The Simpsons (lol), then got on PlayStation Home for a little while (mainly doing the Xi puzzle.. and perfecting my female avatar for maximum skin possible at this time >_>). My dad returned home from dialysis and.. he eventually headed off to bed for a nap.

In the afternoon, I watched the first four episodes of Get Smart: Season 2 (Season 3 DVD is only weeks away, so I better get this watched :p ..lol, good episode.. especially Siegfried, been waiting for him). I played some Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Fury (*posts two more YouTube videos* ninja tossing! lol ..wish I could make videos in other games like this), then watched Family Guy (lol.. ugh @ Cleveland Show teaser during closing credits) and American Dad (lol)... And then I returned to PlayStation Home for a little while..

My dad eventually woke up from his nap soon after I shut off the PS3 at about 7PM. I got online to news-gather.. and ran out of time, so I had to do the rest post-primetime.. In primetime, we watched Rules of Engagement (extra new episode.. haha), How I Met Your Mother (very good finale, better than a lot of episodes this season really), Two & A Half Men (rofl, near-endless laughs in this one.. well, during the hospital scenes anyway), Rules of Engagement (haha again, a bit better than the other one though) and CSI Miami (another really good finale.. yay 4 pseudo-cliffhanger endings like this one). And.. that was about it..

See ya.

[Current Mood | okay]

A video clip from Japanese television has appeared on YouTube, showing some behind-the-scenes footage for the upcoming episodes of Power Rangers RPM while interviewing the stunt team. The footage includes a battle outside Corinth's dome.. as well a battle featuring the upcoming Gold & Silver Rangers. Awesome. :) Except the part where you don't understand a single word they're saying.. :p

According to PlayStation's own Pulse bi-weekly newsmagazine show (the May 7th installment), a new "Chamber Apartment" will be available for free in PlayStation Home for one week only, from May 14th to 21st. The new fantasy-themed personal space features "fire pits, waterfalls and a giant tree that seems to come alive".. Looking forward to it. :)

So right after posting the previous entry at 3AM or whatever (which was preceded by a few-hour nap at my desk), I got the PS3 online in order to get a couple videos off of PS Store. And then I noticed that they've dropped HD720 as a format. Ugh. I've only been downloading in HD720 all this time to help save on HDD space. but now the monstrously-sized HD1080 is our only option for this Thursday's new video content. Looks like I won't be able to fit as much on my archival data DVDs as I used to. Damnit.. I noticed a friend was on Home, so I played a quick game of bowling with her.. then my dad soon left for dialysis..

But I still couldn't get to sleep, so I got back online again (of the PC variety this time).. Though eventually, I did sleep.. I awoke a few hours later and watched another Underbelly.. then my dad returned home from dialysis. We then watched CSI (still behind.. good episode, liked the twist to it) and Flashpoint (another good episode). And I also let him watch his Ellen.. before I watched 30 Rock (haha.. they mention Mama Mia! a few too many times.. then what DVD promo just happens to air directly before the closing credits? Sheesh..).

We headed out to a couple grocery stores and spent more money ( :/ ), then we returned home and I wasted the rest of my time.. in PlayStation Home (*walks around* .. *out of time*). We had some supper, then I got online to news-gather.. In primetime, we watched Prison Break (eh, it was alright.. I guess), Dollhouse (great finale, good stuff.. pleeease bring this back), Soup (haha) and Soup Presents (haha again). And.. yup..

Wow, Mountain Dew Throwback is good. You can really tell the syrup is gone. And with 44 grams of sugar per can, I'm no longer sleepy. Woohoo! :p They better not take it away from me after just eight weeks though. :( See ya.
