Executive Producer Greg Aronowitz, who unfortunately only stayed on Disney's payroll for the unfortunate season of Power Rangers SPD, has posted an extensive behind-the-scenes post on his blog.. and this is only Part 1, which mainly shows how Doggie Cruger and his wife were created.
Disney recently released this silly little teaser promo for Disney XD's upcoming DXDOM (Disney XD Original Movie?) Skyrunners, being produced by Ranger Productions (yes, those Rangers) and starring Aaron Stone's Kelly Blatz. The website however is a little more impressive. Nice. :)
Click the corresponding retailers for their ads for the week of August 16th to 22nd: Best Buy & Target. The only title I'm interested in getting this week would have to be Dexter: Season Three. And since I have Season 1 & 2 on DVD, I'll just get Season 3 that way too. I'm not going to go switching formats in the middle of a series. I'll just have to double dip to Blu at some point in the future.. That and the TV on Blu titles are still a bit too high. Best Buy is offering the new Dexter DVD for just $24.99, but Target has it for $26.99 and is offering an exclusive featurette that may or may not be on a bonus disc. I'm definitely in for the latter.. And rather than decide which series to start next, I should just stall and start this one on release date. It's a blind buy after all, just like Season 1 & 2 (except that I saw the first episode on a promo disc). Oh, and Best Buy has Season 1 & 2 on DVD for just $16.99 each. Sweet deal methinks. It's a great series. :)
Once again, I stayed online on my PS3 all damn night. First, I visited PlayStation Home (US).. then the EU server.. then the Hong Kong and Japan servers. My dad woke up at about 4AM and watched the news for a bit, then took off to dialysis. I got back on Home (never really turned it off, just idled), had some breakfast.. and then I soon fell asleep.. I was awoken at around 10AM or so by my dad wanting the TV switched back to cable.. I did that then got online for a little while.
My dad went off on an errand, then returned home and went to bed for a nap. I watched Zodiac: Director's Cut on Blu-ray. Very good movie, but it mainly seemed like another one of those "only notice the change in runtime" extended versions. To me anyway. I rented the basic DVD and really liked it, so I waited for and bought the director's cut on DVD.. and never got around to watching it. And then picked up the Blu-ray version when it went on sale. And now here we are. :p I fit in the VHSing of a couple more episodes of Caitlin's Way (while I actually wrote more Truth-Seekers) in order to empty the DVR just a bit more for tonight's Degrassi movie.
At about 5:30, I got online to news-gather.. then ended up online for most of the rest of the night because my dad absolutely had to see the first Colts game of the season.. and no doubt every single one to follow. Hoo-fucking-ray. But really, there was nothing on really so I was reasonably okay with it. I'm not okay with how he keeps opening the damn window every evening to save a tiny bit of money on the electric bill. The cat gets to sniff the outside air, the bugs get to start eating him up, and the humid air makes me perspire. My dad's answer to that is to remove his shirt (and sometimes his pants *shudders*) to act more like the redneck that he truly is. Ugh. He conveniently ignores the fact that our cat only gets attacked by fleas during the summer months when he opens said window every night. -_-
Soo.. that's about it.. Oh, except for PlayStation's new trophy portable ID.. that I think isn't as good as the wider and more customizable EU version.. that I also have. :)

4Kids representative TMNT4Kids has revealed more somewhat minor details concerning the 25th Anniversary Direct-to-Video movie. The film will air as multi-part episodes on TheCW4Kids before being released uncut on DVD & Blu-ray "before year end". It's an original story that takes place in the TMNT 2k3 universe and it will not be in the animation style of BTTS (yay). There was talk of the film getting a screening at the San Diego Comic Con this year, but those may just be rumors..
I awoke in the morning, watched Mighty Boosh (haha), then got on PlayStation Home for a little while. But then my dad woke up and I eventually let him watch some of his boring mornings shows (including Ellen) while I got online for a while. I kept looking and looking for a UPS truck. Must. Have. inFamous.. Finally, I retook the TV and watched last night's Greek (very good episode this week).
And then inFamous arrived during it. And it did include the Uncharted 2 Multiplayer Beta code (I'm more looking forward to the Home clothes though.. the code that's e-mailed to me later :( ). Once it was over, I put the disc in and played through the first few missions.. then checked out PlayStation Home for a bit.. and played through a few more inFamous missions (as well as a little rampaging and goofing off.. lol @ the peds saying I was showing off when I actually was :p ..then they said I was crazy when I was jumping across these short columns down the sidewalk, haha).. then briefly visited PlayStation Home again. Heh. I already got five new trophies out of it too. Nice. :)
My dad got some fast food for supper (blah), then I eventually returned to my room to news-gather. Usually lately, I've been keeping my PS3 online as late at 7PM. But I retired at about 5:30 today. Probably because I wanted to get in on some people giving away the inFamous GameStop-exclusive Gigawatt Blades codes in some forums. I want them too. *pouts* :(
In primetime, we watched two episodes of According To Jim (haha), Mental (season premiere.. those head zipper bumpers before every commercial were a bit annoying.. but I liked it.. *sees Jacqueline McKenzie* ..I miss The 4400.. *cries*) and another CSI New York (very good episode.. again.. surprisingly :p). And then I returned to my room for the night.. See ya.

Loot, creators of the Living Room Stage Set personal space for PlayStation Home, have released a funny new trailer promoting the May 28th debut of Ghostbusters.. in PlayStation Home. There's been talk of a themed space as well as virtual versions of the famous Ghostbusters costumes. Cooool. :)
I awoke some time around 4AM to my dad getting ready to leave. Damn. I had fallen asleep prematurely again.. I got online and finished up the previous entry. Then my dad left and I eventually got the PS3 online again and went to PlayStation Home. I hung out at a few places.. then I think I briefly fell asleep.. I awoke and soon did the Xi thing for the day. I was pretty surprised when I saw it was a LittleBigPlanet community level that needed to be played to get the next code. I then eventually completed it and inputted the code.. Next, I watched four more episodes of Get Smart: Season 2 (hahaha).
My dad returned home soon after I started the episodes, then he eventually went to bed for a nap.. I played the InFamous Demo some more (I finished the first mission and mainly just rampaged otherwise :p), then soon returned to PlayStation Home.. where I pretty much stayed all afternoon. First, I tried to glitch in the Resistance space for a bit, then headed over to EA Complex for a game of poker. There's some weird glitches there now. People sitting strangely and the points during the game don't seem to add up either. One guy in my game put all in and lost, then still got some back. And near the end, I almost won a game. So close.
I see a poker bracelet a lot more likely to unlock than those damn Resistance items. Complete Waves 1-4 for the white T-shirt that was just thrown together in 10 seconds. I'm unable to complete Wave 3. Every single time. Complete Waves 1-4 to 100% (destroy all ships) to get the cool-yet-silly-looking spaceship hat. And now there's a rather frickin' cool looking jacket you can unlock.. if you achieve 1,000,000 points. I think only a handful or so have done that so far.. But anyway.. I got bored with it all and got off of it ah hour earlier than the norm lately, then got online to news-gather. We also had some supper.
And then in primetime, we continued to catch up since there was nothing new on again tonight. We watched The Mentalist (very good episode.. that 20-something teenager was sorta hot.. >_> ), CSI New York (wow, they went all intense with the holocaust stuff.. all *throwing it in your face* ..had to make sure I was still watching the same show), The Mentalist (the season finale.. pretty good here too) and The Soup (lol). And that was about it for the night..
So it seems the inFamous Cole Home costume from downloading the demo will actually become available in the coming week. Yay. And double yay because I just now got a shipping confirmation from Amazon on inFamous. UPS via "Next Day Air Saver". Cannot wait to start playing when it arrives on Tuesday. :p See ya..

I awoke in the morning to my alarm.. then waited until my dad was done watching his news. Blah. But then I watched Best Week Ever (lol), Parks And Recreation (lol.. season finale after six episodes.. like US Office :p), The Office (lol, very good episode), Transformers Animated (eh.. it was okay I guess.. found it hard to stay awake), House (wow, great finale.. but the DVRing cut off a bit before it ended, grr.. but thanks to Best Week Ever, the ending was spoiled for me anyway.. bastards >:( ) and two episodes of Roommates (time to get the last eight episodes watched and off the PS3 already..).
Soon after that, it was time for the new episode of Power Rangers RPM -- episode 1912: "Blitz". Another very good episode. Now that the flashback episodes are behind us, it's time to get back to the season's plotlines.. and this episode does exactly that. :) The ending was a bit surprising though.. Next, I watched the last six chapters of Watchmen: The Motion Comic. Great series. I thought I might as well finish it off. Though I was still surprised by the original ending even though I had already heard about it. People say the comic is better, and now I see why. I hope I still enjoy the movie when I buy it multiple times later this year. :p While talking about the movie, there's rumors that there'll be MANY different versions of the DVD and Blu-ray on July 21st, including a glow-in-the-dark Dr Manhattan head case for the Blu-ray (like the cases seen at Target in the past), Rorschach head case for the DVD (ditto), and even a possible steelbook..
We watched another episode of Roommates (hahaha), but then my dad took over the TV for a "few minutes" that ended up being quite a while so that he watch some racing crap. I gave up on watching a second episode and did some cleaning instead. Then I got online for a bit.. before heading to the bedroom DVR and watching two episodes of Bones (very good episodes, haha.. that Japanese "he/she" definitely wasn't a guy, psh.. two more to go in the season). We eventually had some supper. I got online for a few hours.. then returned to the bedroom DVR once again and watched Gossip Girl (I really enjoyed this backdoor pilot flashback episode, but there's word that this spin-off won't be picked up.. CW would rather keep the mediocre 90210 and pick up the new Melrose Place :/ ..ah well.. great casting with Brittany Snow and Krysten Ritter nonetheless :( ).
I watched the MadTV series finale, caught some SNL.. and that was about it.. See ya.

Whoops. I believe I forgot to post this earlier... Click the corresponding retailer for their ad for the week of May 17th to 23rd: Best Buy & Target. My most anticipated purchase this week is definitely True Blood: Season One. Buy the DVD set for $32.99 at Best Buy and get a red "Real Blood Is For Suckers" T-shirt (lol). The Blu-ray version will be $12 higher at $44.99 (at both stores, by the way) and may not come with the T-shirt. :( Nonetheless, I may actually get the Blu-ray for the additional special features.. but I'm not sure yet. Also out this week, the very morning after the the season finale airs, you can own it and all of 24: Season Seven on DVD & Blu-ray. Both stores will offer it for $32.99 on DVD and $44.99 on Blu.. Best Buy finally mentions a Dragon Ball Z season in their ad again (Season Nine for $34.99), but I doubt I'll get it right away since I still have Season Seven left unwatched.. Best Buy also advertises Fanboys on DVD for just $14.99 (Kristen Bell in the Princess Leia bikini, yum). Too bad the Blu-ray to be released in Canada on June 2nd won't be coming stateside though. :(
According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC is preparing to bring Scrubs back for a game-changing ninth season. I guess they're hoping it'll become the ER of sitcoms or something. They've signed on Zach Braff and Sarah Chalke to return for six episodes to help along the transition, already tarnishing the great should-be-series finale. :/
Meanwhile, a season renewal that's a GOOD surprise -- sources say Dollhouse has been picked up by FOX for a second season of 13 more episodes. Wow. By this point, I really didn't expect that. But I'm very happy. Yay! :)
The future of Reaper is also being mulled over over at The CW. They're considering changing it to a syndicated series on a smaller budget. Also, the creators of the show have signed a deal that means they must leave the show, and Tyler Labine ("Sock")'s new sitcom Sons of Tucson has been picked up by FOX.. so he may be leaving as well.. :(
The EU manager of PlayStation Home has revealed what new features will be available both on EU and likely US Home next week, May 21st (since the US managers would rather keep us in the dark about these things). This includes more new hairstyles and a long-awaited update to EA Sports Complex: poker leaderboards and ranking. Sweeeet.. He also brings up a lot of new features and bug fixes to arrive with patch v1.21 (release date still unconfirmed.. but probably next week too), including picture frames to put your HDD photos on your personal spaces' walls (for North America only, still some legal issues in EU I guess). But the bug fixes are sure to anger glitchers like me. There's a lot of cool glitches being abolished, including standing on seats, the character slide glitch, the chair pop-up effect, a way to get furniture on roofs, and a region-jumping technique. I just recently learned how to stand on seats, and really wished I had enough international friends to do the region-jumping thing (in order to get some of their cool exclusive stuff on my US account). Damnit. >:(
I awoke in the morning and online for about an hour or so, partly to finish up yesterday's entry.. Then I watched four more chapters of Watchmen: The Motion Comic on Blu-ray. I liked these a lot more than yesterday. Perhaps I wasn't in the right mood then..? I now have the original graphic novel (softcover) as well, but I think I'll wait until some point after the film's two video releases to read it.. My dad returned home from dialysis and complained about every single thing as usual. I soon retreated to my room while he watched Ellen and bitched about that too.. and then fell asleep again..
Next, I wrote some more Truth-Seekers: Prometheus. Still exciting. :p ..I then watched 24.. But then the mail arrived with my check. Finally! I soon headed out to the bank, then to the grocery store. And after that, I returned home and watched the rest of 24 (haha, something to fill the last two hours.. the finale better be good if they expect me to buy it on Tuesday), followed by My Name Is Earl (lol, nice cliffhanger) and 30 Rock ("it's been a good year." "it's only may" hahaha).
I then got on PlayStation Home for a while (*buys some virtual stuff now that he can afford it*), then also played some Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic (haha, nice game.. and trophies! and video recording! and youtube uploading! all for free this week! don't know why they didn't include that on Home's StageSet space.. I even uploaded a video to my youtube account as a test :) ). We had some supper, then I got online to news-gather.
In primetime, we watched Prison Break (the 2-hour series finale.. soo, the upcoming Final Break "movie" takes place before the very end.. right? I wonder how much of this they refilmed once they found out they were history and were contracted to make the last two episodes.. which will become said "movie".. the final 15mins or so was pretty good.. but otherwise the usual blah, really..), Free Radio (lol.. last week's episode, must catch up) and The Soup (lol).
I returned to my room for the night and that was all I wrote.. today. See ya.

Amazon.de now has their pre-order listing online for the June 15th German DVD release of Power Rangers Lost Galaxy: The Complete Season. When PowerRangersWorld.com announced the date on their site, they said there was "good news" and "bad news".. yet only seemed to reveal the good news -- the release date. I wonder if an even more incomplete English audio awaits.. or will it not be there at all? And if so, will Foreign Media wait for the fans to have the DVDs in their hands and see it for themselves, like with the incomplete English audio on Power Rangers in Space..? This pre-order listing doesn't yet mention the languages present on the DVD.. :/

Damn. New PS3 firmware update too.. that ensures 50% more reboots upon closing Home. Hooray! Seemed that way today anyway.. My dad eventually woke up and I let him watch Ellen, then I followed that with Reno 911 (rofl, was surprised by the special guest star.. great skit too :p) and The Whitest Kids U Know (lol).
I then returned to PlayStation Home for a while. I glitched the new personal space some (couch on the roof.. even though it seems they tried to stop that this time, haha.. success!), then got that secondary freebie (also mentioned above). I also watched the first two chapters of Watchmen: The Motion Comic on Blu-ray. About time I watched this. And didn't enjoy it as much as expected, probably because I already saw most of this story on the big screen. The moments that featured Rorschach were awesome.. but otherwise.. I'll still keep watching though. Hopefully, I can fit in more than two chapters tomorrow..
I then got a couple new items from the PlayStation Store. Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists Of Plastic.. a game that other people paid for in the past is now free? Score! I also downloaded and played the Zen Pinball Demo (wow, lots of online features.. in the full game, that is.. impressive).. My dad awoke from his long nap, so I eventually shut off the PS3. We had some supper, then I got online to news-gather..
In primetime, we watched the Smallville season finale (pretty good finale.. ( super elite mega spoilers! )).. followed by the Grey's Anatomy 2-hour season finale (the second half was definitely better.. all the last-minute stuff, wow.. then the predictable cliffhanger ending..).

I awoke in the morning and looked through the newspaper's ads for Tuesday, then I watched Bleach (not bad), Code Geass (wow.. that was confusing.. so that means it must've been awesome :p), four more episodes of Death Note (Vol 6.. passed them up yesterday because I was in overload on this show due to five four-episode volumes in five days.. and I would've only watched half a volume anyway.. and these episodes definitely deserved to be watched altogether.. Yotsuba plotline was *yawn* to me, but this ending to it.. wow :) ) and Battlestar Galactica (really wanted to get this out of the way.. sooo can't wait for Caprica, now that I've realized that it'll probably be like this show minus all the space parts I actually like :/ ).
We had some breakfast in there somewhere, then I returned to my room and got online. I was also lucky enough to pull myself away from there long enough to watch the latest two episodes of Bones on the bedroom DVR (I liked the second one more.. for obvious reasons :p ..yay, I'm caught up.. until Thursday). We had some supper and soon watched Funniest Videos.. followed by Simpsons (lol).
While my dad watched some of that Home Makeover crap, I pretty much finished episode 2 of Truth-Seekers: Prometheus. The event I don't want to spoil is revealed, and then quite literally in the final line of the episode. :p I was wanting to wait on that a bit longer, but I just couldn't come up with anything that could delay it. Though this revelation is actually just half of the true event. The other half will be revealed a bit later.. So we watched Desperate Housewives (very good episode, haha), Family Guy (rofl) and American Dad (lol). Then that was about it for the night.. See ya.

The Futon Critic reports a bunch of Summer TV scheduling changes. The final two episodes of Drive have been moved from Wednesday, July 4th to Friday, July 13th at 8PM ET.. The ABC encores of Kyle XY will end after this Friday's installment. Uh oh.. Age of Love will continue to repeat before the new episodes, so no chance of seeing the rest of Real Wedding Crashers anytime soon. *shudders just @ typing "Age of Love"* If I wanted reality, I wouldn't be watching TV..
I awoke in the morning and got right to watching Hellboy Animated: Blood & Iron (great movie, a lot better than the first one imo). After that, I played some more Lego Star Wars 2 (great stuff.. looks like I should play through story mode a bit more before I think about going back in Free Play.. a lot of stuff is unattainable without certain characters). My dad returned from dialysis and we eventually watched Passions (yay @ Kay.. bleh @ everything else.. especially the blackmailer's daydream.. I had to look away for that part)..
Once that ended, I watched V For Vendetta again. Me saying that it's "awesome" or "a great film" would be a huge understatement. It's a whole lot better than that. The moment I finished watching it the first time, I couldn't wait to watch it again. And I thought Independence Day would be the perfect day to watch a film about fighting for freedom.. against a tyrannical government. I got emotional again near the end, just as I had the first time. I did so because I could see our country is currently heading in the same direction, even moreso upon this second viewing. This could very well be our future...
When that ended, I quickly watched Noein and Tokko in order to get them off the DVR. Good shows. In the beginning, I thought I would like Noein more. But it turns out I like the other one more. I may drop Noein if it continues at this rate of mediocrity.. We had some supper and I got online to news-gather. As expected, there wasn't much to gather.. :p
At 8PM, I watched the final episode of Hidden Palms. Actually, no. I didn't. My local affiliate is so pissing me off. First, they zoom in on the network's widescreen broadcasts every week. So I don't see Smallville the way it's meant to be seen until the DVD comes out. Then there's always some kind of technical problem that fucks up the show.. and they do nothing about it. Last season, there was an episode of Smallville where they tried to "solve a problem" by switching it back and forth every few minutes from widescreen & sound to full screen & no sound. Grr. And now that brings us to tonight's bullshit. The volume is set way too low at the station or something (besides the usual wide-to-full BS). I have to go over 20 points higher than usual on the volume just to hear it. But I don't want to damage the TV when it comes back, so I leave it at normal volume. But the sound doesn't come back. It even stayed fucked up through a weather warning. The sound didn't even return to normal during the episode. -_-
I gave up and get back online for a bit. Then went outside where my dad was guarding his car against falling firework debris.. and watched the fireworks. We went in for a bit and I watched The Soup (Monday's "Best of" episode), followed by some fireworks on TV. It's just not the same on TV. My dad refuses to go downtown to watch them like we used to because he doesn't want to get caught in traffic afterward. *rolls eyes* I played with the cat a bit, then eventually returned to my room..

Ron Wasserman, the man behind the best songs of Power Rangers, submitted a few theme songs for the new season, Mystic Force. But Disney wanted something more "pop rap" and rejected them. They chose some Outkast wannabe's track instead. I can't help but wonder if the "early version" included was leaked on purpose to gauge fan feedback. Because the fans didn't really like it all that much and it was soon replaced with the version we have now. Most called it only a small improvement (I liked the "Galwit Mysto!" part that they removed *pouts*) and still not as great as Ron's versions. I've included all known versions here, as well as some fan creations. :) Check 'em out (and yes, the closing theme is a new 160kbps version, not that 56kbps one going around)..

Here's a bit of surprising news. That recent download of an unofficial Lost: Season 1 Soundtrack was more official than I first thought. PCTRecords.com is the original torrent site (warning: link not work-safe due to porn ads). The CD's cover art reveals that it is a "Promo Only Original Soundtrack". It also says that it originally came on 3 CDs.. when I'm able to fit it all on one. Here's that tracklist, consisting mostly of sound clips and score music from the show's first season: ( tracklist )

DVDActive.com now has DVD cover art for the March 28th release of Robot Chicken: Season One. Yay. So can't wait. :)
DavisDVD has some details on the March 7th two-disc DVD release of Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire. It'll be the first in the DVD series to include an audio commentary. And WB has hinted that they will eventually revisit the previous three films to include more special features.. :)
The BloodyDisgusting.com Web site reported rumors that Sienna Guillory and Milla Jovovich will return in the third Resident Evil movie, subtitled Afterlife.
*yay's* I liked the first, then the second one even more.. so I'm hoping this one continues that. :)
After I was done online, I watched a little Conan (repeat) and watched / taped yet another episode of How I Met Your Mother, Yay. Five left to get off the DVR. Soon after that, I fell asleep.. I awoke the next morning and read two more chapters of Roswell High #7. This book series got so different than the Roswell TV series (after the first book, which the first episode is based on). So awesome.. We watched the usual morning TV and I had some boring breakfast (cereal). I fell asleep a couple times. Then I thought about buying a PSP. At first, I thought of maybe buying one right away when the next check came, like I did long ago to get that crappy Cybiko Xtreme ($150 wasted there). But then I thought a little more wisely. I was considering trying to buy fewer DVDs recently and since January is looking to be a lighter month DVD-release-wise anyway, I may just try to save up a little. Hmm.. Passions soon started. I'm really like this whole mystery woman thing. I haven't really been looking forward to the next episodes like this in a while..
Once that ended, I watched / taped yet another episode of How I Met Your Mother (lol @ the cockamouse) while my dad was out getting something for supper with his remaining money.. Then I watched the final episode of Elfen Lied. Wow. Nice ending. Even though it forced me to think for a second there. Argh. :p ..Next, I watched The Hole on DVD.. damn, Kiera Knightley's nudity was too shor-- I mean, great movie. I really enjoyed it. :) I finished that up just after 5PM, so I got online to news-gather again. And had some supper during. I finished online a little after 7PM.
I read two more chapters of Roswell High #7. Then we just watched ABC Extreme Bloopers and a couple Will & Grace reruns. *sigh* So bored.. After some playing with the cat, I returned to my room for the night.. I have no idea where its coming from, but a couple times over the last few days when my dad had a coughing fit, I caught myself holding back laughter. And I have no idea why I'd be laughing. I'm very worried for his health. Strange.. See ya..
