The NBC & ABC scheduling battle continues.. to be hilarious. It all started when ABC scheduled their last pre-strike episode of Grey's Anatomy opposite NBC's premiere of The Celebrity Apprentice on January 3rd. Once they did that, NBC moved Apprentice to the following week, January 10th. ABC followed suit and moved Grey's Anatomy to January 10th as well. But then within hours of ABC's move, NBC has moved Apprentice right back to its original date on January 3rd. Will ABC once again move Grey's to combat this? I hope so. Stay tuned. :p
Disney will release the ABC Family college drama series Greek onto DVD on March 4th. Greek: Chapter One will include the first ten episodes (aired so far) of the first season, as well as special features including deleted scenes. Click the link to check out some cover art. The set will retail for only $29.99. That may mean a release-week sale price of $20 or $25. Nice. I may actually get it if it's cheap enough. :p
In case you have yet to hear, the new Transformers Animated series is premiering on Cartoon Network in the form of a 90-minute special December 26th at 8PM ET. It will then make its regular timeslot premiere on January 5th at 10:30AM ET. The Transformers have been redesigned.. and look horrible. And yet they've got Marty Isenberg on board as head writer. He's previously worked on Gargoyles and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003). So now I don't know what to think. :/
I awoke in the morning at like 6AM again or something. Ugh. I finished up my previous LJ entry, then went back to sleep.. I awoke again at about 10AM and ran out of time to watch a movie. Oh well.. My dad soon returned home from dialysis. We had some lunch and watched Ellen (aww last episode of the year.. most likely). Then I took over the TV was watched a couple episodes of Shin Chan (lol.. oops, piled up a bit).
After that, I watched Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix. I didn't really like it all that much. It was way too condensed. And it didn't really make me feel for the characters this time around either. When parts came up that I recognized, I thought "..already?" A certain main character's death occurred way too quickly. And I still couldn't feel for it either. In the end, the 2 1/2 hours seemed like they had went by as if it were only 1 1/2 hours. The next film is already hitting theaters in November 2008. That's quick. So I'm already expecting another heartless adaptation like this one. :(
I looked through the very small amount of special features in this three-disc edition (Tonks is hot, the actress herself.. not as much), then I returned to my room to news-gather. We had some supper, then I finished up online by 8PM. We watched Duel (yup, getting tired of it), followed by three hours of Jeff Dunham stand-up on Comedy Central (after about two hours of laughing, my throat started to feel sore.. ha). I returned to my room, then my dad took off to bed..
