Animation Insider has posted Bandai's press release for this year's Power Rangers Operation Overdrive toy line. I was never really into the toys (except maybe a little during MMPR), but this quote from Heather Rubaum, director of boys/film franchise, Disney Consumer Products is a interesting: "In addition to special-edition product, JETIX on-air stunts and a new Power Rangers Supersite at www.powerrangers.com, we're planning some special fan-driven events that audiences of season 1 to season 15 can all enjoy." Hmm..
I awoke in the morning and watched some boring TV. Then I finally watched two more DVD episodes of TMNT 1987 Vol 6 (If only the continuing storylines weren't constricted to season opening or season ending episodes, then I'd actually like the original series quite a bit more.. like I do the 2003 series). My dad arrived home from dialysis as they were ending. We had some breakfast and watched 'Til Death & War At Home (lol). Then he watched the news as I got online for a bit..
We watched Passions next (hmm, that was definitely Spike as the rapist this time.. even though PRWF's Phillip Jeanmarie was still in the closing credits as the "Peeping Tom" that raped her last time), then went to the grocery store for some more things. We returned home and I watched the last two DVD episodes of Buffy: Season 2 (whoa.. and lol @ title card being changed.. "oh, I need a hug."). They ended just after 5PM. What's next? News-gathering time, of course. We had some supper, then my dad headed off for a nap..
At 8PM, I watched Ghost Whisperer (nice change in ghost type.. and Jay Mohr's character is still awesome). The cat got bored of me, so he went into my dad's room and woke him up. lol. Then we watched Close To Home (eh, it's alright), The Soup (lol) and King of Queens (lol.. I identified just a little with Patton Oswalt's nerdy character.. but am now a little pissed at how they're slowly turning him gay). Then I returned to my room for the night.
