After releasing six single-disc volumes of twelve or thirteen episodes each, Lionsgate has finally decided to release a five-disc set titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987): Season Four on March 13th 2007. The release date is no doubt meant to coincide with the release of the new CGI theatrical movie. The DVD set, which will retail for a $39.98 SRP, will contain the next forty episodes of the classic animated series. Awesome. :)

With the South of Nowhere season finale merely days away, The N has issued a press release announcing the return of Degrassi: The Next Generation and Beyond The Break on January 5th 2007 at 8PM ET. Also, be sure not to miss the Beyond The Break behind-the-scenes special premiering December 31st at 7PM ET. Beware though, there's a few spoilers within...

AintItCoolNews reports that a sequel to National Treasure is in the works, possibly subtitled The Book Of Secrets, and it may be in theaters by this time next year... Coooool. Can't wait. :) But again, beware the major spoilers within.

Click on the respective retailer for their ad for the week of December 24th to 30th: Best Buy, Circuit City and Target. And Best Buy turns their knife in my back a bit more. First, their exclusive bonus disc for 24: Season 5 didn't show up on shelves until the week after it was first on sale. And now all five seasons are on sale for only $20 each after I purchased S5 for $35 at the beginning of the month. Thanks sooo much, Best Buy. They also don't list Simple Life 4 in the ad, so I hope it's even out on the shelf in my store..

I awoke in the morning, watched some morning TV, then went off media buying...

First, I headed over to Best Buy and picked up A Scanner Darkly (grr @ being $20 everywhere) and American Pie 5: The Naked Mile (grr @ all having imperfect packaging). I got the $5 gift card with purchase of two new release DVDs. But the attractive girl at the register and I talked about the new American Pie films a bit and I forgot about the Reward Zone $5 certificate I had gotten yesterday. It usual comes in the mail just after my media buying. But this time it came before and I still forgot. :p Ugh @ next week where I'll have to price-match, gift card and certificate a single DVD down to $3. :p Hope they don't screw me over..

My dad went to the grocery store one last time for this month and got some things. Then I got an Icee on the way home.. even though it was pretty cold out. :p We returned home, then I inventoried the new DVDs. Eventually, it was time for Passions (ugh). Then my dad went off somewhere. When he returned, we finally watched last night's Deal Or No Deal (I'm getting tired of this and only DVRed it for my dad) and Identity (innnteresting). And by the time that was over, it was already past 5PM. :/ So I got online to news-gather.

We had some supper, then I finished up online at 8PM. We watched Identity (yay) and two new episodes of Big Day (lol, funny stuff.. mmm Marla.. and the strippers :p). And that was about it.. *looks @ default userpic* That thing sucks. I just wish I could find something better that's still PROO-related and in blue.. :/ See ya.
