I awoke in the morning to my my alarm. I looked through the newspaper's ads for Tuesday and found nothing better than I had already found. :( We had some breakfast, then I took over the TV and watched MadTV (haha), Trinity Blood (coool), Bleach (pretty good), Eureka 7 (awesome), .Hack//Roots (great), Oban Star-Racers (two episodes for VHS transfer) and Beakman's World (*hides*). Once that was over, I returned to my room and got online..

I read online about scenes that were removed for the "unrated & uncut version" of Talladega Nights on DVD and got pissed. Those assholes are trying to get us to buy both DVDs of the film. I was looking forward to that "25 Years Later" commentary too, but it's only on the theatrical DVD. Grrrrr..
Eventually, I went to the bedroom DVR and watched the first four hours of The Lost Room (awesome.. something rare in a SciFi Channel original :p). And I just now finished them. I'll have to watch the rest and everything else tomorrow night.. since there's nothing new on and my dad's football game is. :)

I had some Hot Pockets for supper since my dad wasn't feeling all that great. And this time he blamed the cat. :( We watched Funniest Pets (haha @ videos.. ugh @ the narrator.. who I recognized from the classic TMNT cartoon), Reba (lol), Simpsons (lol), American Dad (lol) and Family Guy (rofl.. yup, a new one). My dad headed off to bed early instead of staying up to rewatch the first of my Christmas DVDs. Great. I didn't feel like watching it tonight anyway.. Instead, I watched Oban Star-Racers (VHS transfer.. but whoa, I completely missed this episode somehow.. and it was so awesome.. three to go) then returned to my room for the night.
I stopped bitching about how much my life sucks just because someone here began to get tired of it. And now I feel more inhuman than ever. Not to mention lonely due to the lack of comments lately. Even that annoying girl from Nevada that points out truths sometimes would be okay with me right now. Ever since I've been kicked out of the "Mutant Chat" for "stalking Funaro" (aka not removing the Power Rangers Revelations entries), my online life has been rather boring. I'm a recluse in real life, and now others have made me a recluse online as well. There's no where else to go. *sigh*

Always someone to talk to, something to do. Its impossible to be bored in an MMO, since the point isnt to beat it but to meet other people, play with(or against) them, and be social in a fantasy atmosphere as an escape from the real world. Living a second life, basically, where anything is possible.
I've been considering saving for a PS3. Maybe I'll have enough for one by the time the new Grand THeft Auto comes out in October. :p Though I am considering getting a new PC first.. once I can afford that. *shrug*
My take on PS3s:
I NEVER buy the first 2 lines of a console. Look at the PS2, Xbox360, etc. They always botch it somehow. For PS2 I got a first line for Christmas and it broke within a year. Xbox 360s were catching on fire! 0_o Give em a year or so. Atm there are no games worth getting on for, and in a year or so the prices will drop, even if just a little.
I'd suggest PC first. You can get a lot more use out of one atm, and best of all you'll have one that can run PC games. Meaning you can spare more tv time for your dad and he'll probably be a little less grumpy because of it. Also, you can play online games with computers, which is a major social thing. It'll give you people to talk to. :)
you know, the fable about the donkey and the miller and how the miller tries to make everyone happy and fails miserably? he ends up doing what he wants and is best for him, because the moral of the story is:
if you try to make everyone happy, nobody will be, including yourself.

Going by the forum, the theatrical version's the one you want to get anyway...
I've already purchased and viewed the unrated version. :( And I like the unrated exclusive special features, so I guess I'll just have to wait and buy the theatrical when it gets cheap again. :/ | |
